I made a comment on ABC News' site concerning how certain bogeymen are created to scare us into giving up more of our liberty. Some numb-nutz asked me what liberties we've lost, so I replied "Here's an easy start...try calling me the N-word here by spelling it out. In fact, I'll bet I get censored just for using "N-word".

Sho nuff, within the hour dis boy's comments got removed and my slave-ass was banned from commenting on ABC news.

Could be worse I guess, can't use n-word, can call use honkies etc and say we suffer from unknown white racism disease and if we just adopted their non culture, supported them as a payment for our past sins, allowed them to run our country etc, everything would be great and we would do as well as Zimbabwe etc has done under black rule. Would of even been worse if the comment was posted on National Propaganda Radio. Wonder if Trump will defund it. What would all those self appointed "cultural" leaders do for a job? Wait Starbucks is hiring and with them as servers, you could get snide remarks that were politically correct to go with your over priced PC coffee.

  7. UncleMorgan

UncleMorgan I like peeling bananas and (occasionally) people.

If I ever get asked under Oath by some PC prosecutor if I have ever used the "N-word", I'll look him dead in the eye and testify that I have used the word "nincompoop" many times.

And if he keeps repeating the question I'll run right through the dictionary: Nitrogen, Napalm, Nipple, Nougat, etc., until the yutz finally has to be specific.

They can't make me read his mind.

And then when he finally has to say the dreaded N-word right out loud in front of God and Everybody, I'll just say that I was neither the first person to use that word nor the last...

Wait until facebook, google, amazon and other lib leaning powehouses start censoring what they determine is "fake news".

Their gal lost, their party lost their dream of barry version 2.0 with hillary is gone for at least four years and they will now try and rewrite the information landscape while flying their riotous flag of purging "fake news".

Now more than ever it will be important to check and check and check your sources of news.

These are considered good sources none predicted Trump winning and most came out against him..
    "mainstream, corporate owned sources":ROFLMAO:

Update 3: Some people are asking which news sources I trust, and all I can say is that I read/watch/listen very widely, from mainstream, corporate owned sources (The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes) as well as The Atlantic, National Public Radio

False, Misleading, Clickbait-y, and Satirical “News” Sources

"The times they are a changing" here in rural New Hampshire. Was talking a couple days ago with the clerk at the small store I stop at to get my morning coffee on the way to work. Been the same one for the past 30 years, a little different than Starbucks etc. 30 years ago he used to sell 30 or so Boston Globe newspapers every morning and perhaps 50 of their Sunday issues. He now orders 2 and unless something special is in the news, often returns 1. Similar numbers are also occurring with the Wall Street Journal and the regional newspapers. Part of it is due to price, Globe is $2 and used to be 50 cents, but most of it is that the younger generation does not use or trust the old print media. The other mass media sources, radio, television, magazines, etc are also losing their viewers. The new generation is so enthralled with their phones, facebook, emails, blogs, etc, and seldom connect with the old communities that I do and the few communities that still exist tend to be like this one, in a new space, on the new media, or at church, or the local store, or the local town board meeting, or at the local post office. The problem is that in a town of about 5000 people, perhaps 50 are involved in the town meetings or school board meetings, usually the same 50, and 500 in the local churches, the rest just sleep here and only appear when there is a problem, or some group gets on their radar, Trump or Hillary supporters, pipeline, tax increase due to school budget, and disappear as soon as the topic is settled or past. We have become a town full of sheep and either graze peacefully or rush about in panic and disarray, for the most part there is no real involvement with anything in the town or its operation and the local bureaucrats like it that way. I include the local school administration, the local police, the town officers, the members of the town boards, the local political parties leadership, the local church leadership, etc, in that group. They very carefully guide things to their desired ends and there is no local sense of community to challenge those wishes. I see the same thing happening on the national level and that allows the new "flash" mob to have an impact far beyond their real numbers. I include Bernies groups, Trump's groups, BLM, the different gay and lesbian groups, pro environment groups, etc, in this new age. They form, dominate the news and the conversation on the media, then disappear back into the flock. Don't know what the future will be, but the media, educational system, new "morality", etc is changing it into something that I feel alienated from and do not trust. Seem to be preaching to the choir here and just hope I can avoid it a few more years and die in peace.

Lying seems to have come a national m pass time. opps I mean spinning the news!

I don't think most people trust any media. The media hype over small things is annoying. Small group of protestor make news, then there is a reaction and that makes the newa. They try to get us to fight each other.

I think the election of the current president demonstrated that there is a silent majory that isn't very vocal but vote when it's important. Those same people silently wait and watch so they can counter stupidity from elected officials. No need to be flashy or cause a ruckus.

These people make me proud to be an American. Forget what the news feeds you. I also think most of you watch the news and only see the young people the media want you to see. You don't see the hard working and thoughtful youth that I see. Try having a real conversation with a snowflake instead of judging the younger generation based on a news media that lies to you.

My problem with the kids coming out of college today is a few points. 1. Lack of problem solving and critical thinking skills. 2. Poor work ethic, would rather be updating status or tweeeting when they should be working. 3. Think they deserve much higher salaries and positions than they are worth and quit jobs after 1 yr if no promotion is forthcoming.

I am a metallurgical engineer. I am good at what I do and have been doing it over 15 years. I have an advanced degree in my field. We get kids out of school thinking they know everything and should be making in a few years what took me 15 to get to. Their expectations of the working world are entirely unrealistic. They are borderline untrainable... Occasionally you find a good one but they are few and far between. They feel that they should never have to be out on the factory floor. Note: if you are an engineer in manufacturing you have to spend some time out on the floor working with the processes. They feel they are better than the hourly folks.

Gando, if you know some hard working, practical young engineers let me know where to find them because we are looking.

That is because, even in many Engineering Schools, the Professors never spent any REAL TIME, in The Industry... I ALWAYS ask these guys, if they have a PE License, even the PHDs... Most do not, and that really tells the TAIL... In some States you can't even call yourself an "Engineer" without a PE License, on the wall... Of the Three Partners in my Brothers Engineering Firm, All Three have PE Licenses, and both his Partners, both PHDs, had to do their 5 Years of Practicle Engineering, under License, and he is only a BS Engineer. (never finished his Masters. Because he had to feed his family)

I believe you cannot hold yourself out as an Engineer without the license no matter what state you are in. Note the capital "E," it makes a difference in law.

I am a big fan of having professors in schools that spent time working int their field and not just in a lab at a university. However, in certain fields I don't think professors need to have PE's. I am not a PE and don't really care to be. I don't knock those who's career path requires it at all. It is not required by my employer so the expense of it and potential liability associated with it is not worth it for me. I have other professional NDT certs that are required by my employer for my position and they pay for the ceu's needed for me to maintain those. If we, at the plant, have specific tasks that require a PE (nothing in the metallurgy or processing field) like various structural things for building construction or maintenance we either contract that specific task out or have a PE for that specific discipline. This following site talks about industrial exemption in engineering license requirements. Regulation and licensure in engineering - Wikipedia if anyone is interested. Most engineers in this country are covered by the industrial exemption to licensing requirements. Either way licensed or not I believe that we really need to reevaluate our engineering educators because the kids are coming out of school now without the basic skills needed to make the transition to the work force. It used to be that it was about a year before a new metallurgist would be useful in the plant. Now it is more like 2 years. The remedial training you need to do with the kids is ridiculous.

Agree entirely as a practical matter, tho' the school might require it. There is no need for a PE to teach, nor even for a PhD for at least the lower levels of academic work. However, it will be of immense value if the professors have some real world experience. Too many do not, and cannot relate to what the graduates will run into in their first jobs.

Holding a PE license does NOT a teacher make.

I'm sure that a number of white supremacists would sympathise about such PC coddling, but even Stormfront asterisks out ****** and ******s in their publicly viewable forums...perhaps their members only, secret handshake, 88tattoo lounge might be somewhat less PC.

Personnally, if one is standing on one's perceived right to make a provocatively d1ckish move to prove a point, then perhaps the only thing that is being demonstrated, is that one is just being a d!ck. Saying N***** reminds me very much of the Tim Minchin song, "Prejudice"..... Warning this song is NSFW, NSFF .....and may offend.

Freedom of speech??? The Constitution guarantees the right of citizens to freely express their views without interference by the gooberment....it doesn't guarantee that media proprietors are obligated to, or will necessarily print / publish whatever media consumers want to say, in whatever way they chose to express it. The media are free to exercise editorial control over their own media enterprises, and are free to protect their own commercial interests in conducting their business....If a media enterprise wishes pursue editorial policies that tend to minimize the dickish behavior of its contributors, then that's a commercial (and possibly a legal) decision that they are free to exercise (or not) as they choose.....with all the commercial (and legal) consequences that may follow such decisions.

uh Chell, i was banned for writing "N-Word"...not the actual word...not that writing it should be any different either. It doesn't take some white supremacist to see how silly that is...anyone with half a brain should be able to see how silly...and dangerous to liberty...this horsepucky is.

You may go back to your book burning.

You might also want to look into the 14th Amendment of our Constitution...which rightly or wrongly has been used to expand the meaning of those rights guaranteed in the Constitution to more that just our federal government. I won't even get into your incorrect notion that either governments or constitutions "grant" rights. Our Constitution could be mum on "free speech", but that unalienable human right would still exist and I would still fight governments or anyone else who attempted to deprive me of it. I don't expect you to understand or agree, but I do expect you to respect it.

Yes indeed. Remember when the NOW gang had, at it's largest, 200 (yes that is two hundred) members NATION WIDE?! AND they were quoted by every paper, radio, TV or other propaganda show as a real, viable source of information and nation shaping views?

I don't know what Stormfront does or does not do, I'm sure Chell is on there often and knows far more about it than I do, so I will trust him (this time) as he does seem to know what he is talking about as far as hate group posts and what they do.
