Interesting.....does this take into account succession planting?..........does the number of seeds represent the total number planted during the course of the growing season for that plant? Probably not for plants that aren't bush and vine varieties such as carrots, beets, radish, lettuce and spinach. An interesting guide.
I used this mostly as a guide for stocking seeds. I know from experience saving seeds that one in 4 won't sprout so if I need one plant I plant 4 seeds. I thin or give the other two away if they are robust. people love tomatoes. I don't plant as many peas as is recommend because we don't eat them. Although as I am in the process of revising food preps for more greens and sprouting.... thus may change again. My preps are based on older gardening data atm. The one thing I don't have sorted is herbal plant seed quantities. Mullen, tumeric etc. It's all a work in progress
You could dehydrate the peas for long term storage...what you don't eat you can trade or use for pea soup ingredient care packages.
