Snowmelt in DC today amid the hot acrid smoke of tear gas as 45 takes the reins and we start to get our country back from corporate and decadent big money interests that counter the American Dream. A big salute to all the first responders in DC that had to lay it all on the line today, and continue to do so through the afternoon and night as anarchist feebly attempt to change the course of the overwhelming flow of American history. I'm seeing a few hundred protestors and thousands of camera people - WTF!
Judging from Il Drumpfe's dream team captain picks....corporate and decadent big money interests are well served....let the lobbying begin!! Edit: I don't have an issue with competent former generals being given defence / intelligence / security portfolios, provided that they are not the kind of Keitel / Jodl generals that served a similar populist politician in the not so distant past. I have reason to believe that Trump's ex-generals appointments will serve him, and the nation satisfactorily.
Even with the tear gas the air is still much fresher in DC than it was just yesterday... I loved the "lock her up!" chants from the crowd when Hillary was introduced.
Not too sure what the point of the Trump "No gov't experience" photo was. It didn't include Obozo, (most) of his picks, or other demonrat thuggery. As for the "Republican Politics", why no Obozo photo picks of his "Communist (openly) and Communist (closet) Politics" staff? Sure, no need for "EX-military" under the Obozo front, there weren't any. Did like the "liberal heads explode" photo however.
The OP was about Il Drumpfe, not NoBama....Obama is history, Il Drumpfe is the present and immediate future: I hope he brings the utopia that voters apparently endorsed.
My point was that Obozo had FAR more of what you were pointing out, but no one seemed to care about that. Even if Donald turns out to be the eighth worst pres in US history (and I'm betting he will be one of the best), he will still be seven spots higher then Obozo.
No need to run comparos with zero's inclusions and commentary on their experience. Just water over the dam at this point.
Don't think he understands that the Nazis and Fascist......the bigots and racist....... The Homophobes and Violent folks are the ones protesting. It has always been in the liberals best interest to keep people down and dependent. That is what keep them in money, power and control. That is why they love Marx, socialism and swoon over communism. There simply has to be a endless supply of victims in order for the Progressive Liberal mindset to thrive. Hopefully today marks the end of that twisted mindset.
Then you have wasted 8 years in not pointing out Obama's deficiencies with regards to Obama's cabinet choices. I have chosen the mission of pointing out Donaldo the Greatest's deficiencies, that few here seem to care much about either.
Some folks may have a nice looking resume until you look a bit more closely.. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Obama’s Vote in Illinois Was Often Just ‘Present’ In 1999, Barack Obama was faced with a difficult vote in the Illinois legislature — to support a bill that would let some juveniles be tried as adults, a position that risked drawing fire from African-Americans, or to oppose it, possibly undermining his image as a tough-on-crime moderate. In the end, Mr. Obama chose neither to vote for nor against the bill. He voted “present,” effectively sidestepping the issue, an option he invoked nearly 130 times as a state senator. Sometimes the “present’ votes were in line with instructions from Democratic leaders or because he objected to provisions in bills that he might otherwise support. At other times, Mr. Obama voted present on questions that had overwhelming bipartisan support. In at least a few cases, the issue was politically sensitive. Obama making less than a quarter of Senate votes - CNN.com WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Sen. Barack Obama has missed the most votes of any Democratic presidential hopeful in the Senate over the last two months, including a vote on an Iran resolution he has blasted Sen. Hillary Clinton for supporting. Sen. Barack Obama makes a campaign stop at Iowa State University on Saturday. The Illinois Democrat has missed nearly 80 percent of all votes since September. The other Democrats in the Senate running for president have missed a high percentage of votes as well. Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware has missed 68 percent of the votes during the same period, Sen. Christopher Dodd of Connecticut 65 percent and Clinton of New York 63 percent. Obama's campaign points out that Biden missed the most votes if the whole year is considered, followed by Dodd, then Obama. Obama's campaign argues that looking at the last two months is arbitrary. Obama missed a vote on a resolution that declared the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, an elite part of the Iranian military, a terrorist organization. He has criticized Clinton for voting for it, saying it would give President Bush a "blank check" to invade Iran.
And let us also bear in mind that the "Us vs Them" has been pushed every day for the past 8 years. So if you wish to place blame for starting that, the new administration is not even in the running. And "hate speech" is what we are hearing from the leftists...and have been whenever they don't get their way. And yes...I have stopped caring about including the Progressive Socialist Liberal faction of the Statist Party in anything except target selection.
Niemöller was arrested on 1 July 1937 and brought to a "Special Court" on 2 March 1938 to be tried for activities against the State. He was fined 2,000 Reichmarks and received a prison term of seven months. His detention period exceeded the jail term, however, so he was released by the Court after the trial. However, immediately after leaving the Court, he was rearrested by Himmler's Gestapo—presumably because Rudolf Hess found the sentence too lenient and decided to take "merciless action" against him. He was interned in Sachsenhausen and Dachau concentration camps from 1938 to 1945.
