Unstoppable JavaScript Attack Helps Ad Fraud, Tech Support Scams, 0-Day Attacks Monkeys are advised to upgrade to the latest Firefox Internet for people, not profit with noscript NoScript Security Suite or the latest Chrome Chrome Web Browser immediately.
Well, I must admit the relationship is on the rocks. Seems like the simplest things just got harder and can't see much in the way of improve so far...
@Bandit99 - I followed a set of directions given to me by a couple knowledgeable monkeys and other gurus that saw to it I could not screw up too badly to get rid of or minimize the intrusiveness of W10 that came installed on my laptop. If I could properly recite them for you, I would. I know the guys that helped me are (or are going to read) this, and I hope they give you the same guidance if you need it. Additionally, there are some articles on line that give a lot of details. Three more items. -Do NOT buy Office 2016. The "enhancements" truly add confusion to the operations. (If you can find Office 2010, get it, or go with Open Office.) -Do get Firefox. "They say" that Chrome is a great browser, but it is too closely associated with Google for my comfort. -You may like the idea of the cloud. I don't, it strikes me as high risk.
I decided early on that putting things in "the cloud" meant sharing them with anyone with a couple of brain cells to rub together and enough curiosity to want to see them.
Any thoughts on this CLIQZ - Secure browser with built-in quick search . Got tired of dealing with the Firefox crashes and constant updates and started using it.
Mozilla has even invested in Cliqz and also has an addon for search that anybody can add to Firefox. Mozilla Makes Strategic Investment in Cliqz to Enable Privacy-Focused Search Innovation It looks to be a nice enterprise, if the Cliqz company can retain control and update as needed. If they end up selling out to anybody other than Mozilla, all bets are off. So far, things are well for them in Deutschland. Looks promising.
Monkeys there is another one Google Goes Public with Unpatched Microsoft Edge and IE Vulnerability this one affects both IE and Edge
