Have you heard about the hottest new gun that was the “talk of the town” at SHOT Show 2017? Today we sit down to chat with Cy Hudson, the creator of the Hudson H9 pistol, the gun that feels like and has the trigger of a 1911, but shoots flat and fast like a Glock. We get the back story, inspirations behind the creation of it, and what the future looks like for Hudson Manufacturing. Trust me, you don’t want to miss this interview! Tune in now!

Also don’t miss the Guardian Nation Live broadcast event this Thursday, March 16th at 7:00pm where we will sit down face-to-face with Cy and Lauren Hudson to hear more about the amazing engineering, technology and heart that has gone into this All-American firearm. PLUS your chance to ask them questions and get their answers in a special Q&A. We hope you will join us for that special Guardian Nation Live event!

WOW! I never knew the 1911 couldn't shoot flat and fast with the same cartridges that the Glock uses! Could someone explain this to me?! As to "talk of the town", I bet it was! Mostly as in "What The Freak is THAT?!"

These freaking vain engineers keep trying to improve on John Browning but you just can't exceed perfection.

Ever wonder why every modern semi auto that's almost worth a shit has copied much of J.M. Browning's greatest design? Glock, Beretta, Star, ect.........they all use Browning's ideas from the 1911! Says something about the 1911 doesn't it?!?!?

But does it come with a choice of adjustable backstraps? And colors, what about something other than a pedestrian dull black?

Hehehehe. This from a guy that advocates for all having to use any size? As bitcherly asked, "What difference does it make?"

That aside, I have to echo the idea that it's a solution to an unobvious problem, and I have to ask what niche it fills. There have been some remarkable inventions along the timelines that revealed what they were good for after development. Time might answer that question, but I'm not holding my breath or investing in the company.

THIS is the way I'm starting to feel about Obamacare. Last week, here in NEPA, we had a rally in Hazleton to actually keep this financially unsustainable and draining program instead of straightforwardly cutting it off at its socialist roots and getting rid of it — Something the 'swamp critters' in Washington seem to be completely unwilling to do. The people in this (incredible) rally were actually carrying signs that read 'Fix it, don't nix it! ' (Genuine political savants!) :p

I've heard it said that the ground water, here, in Pennsylvania is contaminated; but this incident is the first time that I've seen any public evidence of it.

Now, I know George Soros (that old Nazi) and his ingratiating cartel of international banksters actually pay hefty sums of money for public rallies like this one; but, so far, nobody has fessed up to Soros' involvement. (In Philadelphia's political rallies? Yes, but so far not in Hazleton's.) Neither have I forgotten the immortal (or is it 'immoral '?) words of (often bizarre) congresswoman Nancy Pelosi. In her impassioned plea for the House of Representatives to vote Obamacare into existence, 'Nutty Nancy' said, (and I quote) 'We have got to pass this bill so that we can find out what is in it ...... Ahh, away from 'the fog' of controversy! '

So the Washington 'swamp critters' passed it; and we now know what's in it! The correct answer? 'Nothing good for the American public, Nancy, nothing good at all; but, now that you've passed it, we've ended up thoroughly stuck with it anyway! ' Well all of us, that is, EXCEPT for you and the other Washington 'swamp critters'. While America got impregnated with Obamacare you, all, have ended up with your own (really good) medical insurance! ;)

The exact same mentality reigns supreme, here, on this issue too! Now the American military is going to have all sorts of barrel and slide configurations, and pistol grips of varying (longitudinal) widths to be carried and used as GENERAL COMBAT handguns!

What could possibly go wrong? I'll just bet the Army is going to have tens of thousands of pieces of plastic backstrap litter lying around all over the place! But yes, in time, somebody might, indeed, find a good use for all of this plastic litter; (fire starters, maybe?) and, besides, THIS IS AMERICA! We can afford all sorts of military nonsense, damn it; and gizmo inventions with more inherent liabilities than intrinsic value are, indeed, waiting to be discovered. In fact, 'discovery devoid of any genuinely useful purpose' defines a very great deal of American financial government waste!

This was (by degree) true when I was a boy; and I think this wasteful situation and peculiar financial philosophy will be even more obvious in the years ahead. It's just that nobody seems to be able to 'crawl out of the swamp' and do something genuinely constructive to stop it. Me? When it comes to handheld firearms I want durable and practical tools that I can actually use and use well — NOT stuff that I can do little more than play with, stupidly customize to my personal preference, and/or use to fool myself into believing that, somehow, I'm going to be extra safe if I have one of these latest gizmos hanging, OTB, on my waist.
