I especially like the part of the so called "experts" that were quoted as claiming High Capacity ammunition Magazines should be banned as the best way to limit mass shooting! Does that mean my High Capacity Volvo should be banned because It could kill 7 occupants instead of five, and should I be forced to submit to a back ground check, fill out a form, and submit $200 and then wait 8 or more months for approval to purchase said Volvo at a 300% markup?!?!?!

And obviously these people are the ones that yell gun control gun control but have NO idea what being a responsible gun owner is all about. I have had a gun and hunter since I was seven. I bought my own gun at 13 with money I worked for and saved for that purpose. They just do not nor want to understand the gun culture
Personally, I think that all: mass murderers, serial killers, and murderous religious fanatics should be promptly and publicly executed in the same way that Americans used to do with these malevolent psychopaths back in the good old days. Give the kids some clean clothes, pack the car for the trip, bring a picnic lunch, and take the whole family to some place like: Aurora, Blacksburg, Killeen, Newtown, San Bernardino, or even Miami for the big event! Live television could title these events as something like: 'The Justice Now Show', 'Final Justice — The Weekend Report', or how about 'Judge Judy's Hang 'Um High Show '. Maybe a nice fireworks display in the park at the end of the day, too! Know what? I'll bet America's current problems with serial killer psychopaths would suddenly dry up, and disappear overnight; and, the myriads of constantly proposed, and reproposed, draconian new gun laws would also all disappear along with all of the homicidal lunatics who occasion them.
I'll give you half of that but I wouldn't sensationalize it. Yes public and damned near immediate, but sensationalization and publicity is what drives copy cat crimes. Also, and I think you were being a little tongue in cheek, but exposure breeds desensitization. I'm not a fan of making it into a party because it cheapens life and all of the negatives that introduces.
I do not care if it public or not. The sentence should be carried out immediately take them to the basement in the room with the floor drain and power two in the back of the head done.
