    Hello form NC.

    We've been around the world several times, and are now small farm homesteaders / home schoolers; doing pretty well so far with what we call B12:
    Band aids
    Barter
    Batteries
    Beans
    Bikes
    Blah3
    Blankets
    Books
    Bouncy balls
    Buddies
    Build
    Bullets

    Like any independent people, we've earned our own ideas and opinions, but thought it might be fun to read and talk a bit. Thanks in advance for what we can learn, and hopefully give something useful back.

    Thanks everyone for the welcomes!
    Also, Bouncy balls is games, toys, diversions, etc.

    Mostly receive capabilities, as in multiband scanners and the usual AFM/FM/SW/WB tabletops and wind-ups.
    We do have Motorolla FRS and Baofeng handhelds and CBs, but not a lot of transmit beyond close / local.
    At one point we'd considered a dedicated HAM shack, but don't want to send a lot of interesting signal bouncing around if things should go too far sideways.
