OK some might think this is political... I think it's murder...

    so I put it here...

(Gateway Pundit) A West Goshen, Pennsylvania man shot his GOP neighbor twice in the head and killed him late Monday night.

Clayton Carter, an unhinged anti-Trump fanatic, shot his neighbor twice in the head on his neighbor’s property.

Clayton Carter has anti-Trump signs sprinkled on his lawn. He has a history of arguments with his neighbors.

The victim G. Brooks Jennings was murdered while his wife watched Clayton stand over her husband and shoot him in the head.

    ABC6 reported:

A man is under arrest, accused of killing his next door neighbor in West Goshen, Chester County.

Police have charged Clayton Carter, 51, in the shooting death of G. Brooks Jennings.

Shortly before 8 p.m. Monday, police responded to the 300 block of Box Elder Drive for a dispute between Carter and Jennings about cursing and video recording in the back yard. Police said they were able to resolve that dispute.

Then at approximately 1 a.m. Tuesday, police say the neighbors got into another dispute. Carter told police that Jennings shined a light into his eyes while he was outside. Carter then allegedly pulled a car onto his lawn, shining the high beams of the car on Jennings’ property.

Carter then allegedly retrieved a .380 semi-automatic handgun from his house and confronted the victim again outside.

Officials say Carter shot Jennings once in the head, knocking him to the ground. Carter then allegedly stood over Jennings’ body and shot him once more in the head….

Not sure if politics were the reason, a contributor or not at this point. Will be watching this story. Prayers for the family and loved ones of Mr. Jennings.

So much for the "Unhinged" not being able to get firearms...

Lordy, Old Dude, I thought you might have been suggesting that it was an example of voter suppression....instead, it was just an example of some eminently sane person pushed beyond his limits in an on going neighbourhood competition in being dick neighbours.

What happened to the theory that an armed society is a civil society??? [dunno]

Seems a devout Trump hating Democrat lost his self control and murdered someone he didn't like...

to me this points out one of the major reason most Dems fear armed people...

they tend to project their lack of self control on everyone else... so they think others will do as this Democrat did?

One datum point in a population of gun violence incidents resulting in injury and death....the whole of which is an aggregation of individual datum points...that....or i was being sarcastic....which is the more likely. :p

Looked up alternate stories of the same event.

The shooter was "well known to the cops" for being a complete Richard - to the entire neighborhood.

Many seemed surprised the shooter had not met his demise earlier.

Crazy neighbors - a good reason I will never live in an apt complex...

The accused had better hope that his counsel is competent enough to challenge folk with similar views expressed by some in this thread from being empanneled in the trial jury., else the accused would be convicted before the actual admissible evidence had been presented, evaluated, and adjudicated upon.

There must be a vast conspiracy by the MSM to only report deranged Bernie or Hillary supporters assaulting or killing Republicans...

If a potential jury member has already formed a firm conviction of innocence or guilt, before the trial has commenced, then they have no place on the jury, and their membership should properly be challenged.

Although the victim's wife is an eyewitness....her testimony cannot be properly be considered and tested until it has been delivered, under oath, before a properly empanelled jury, which, supposedly, hasn't already decided upon the accused's guilt, or innocence.

The jury will still have to evaluate the probative value of the testimony that the victim's wife actually gives in court. Eyewitness testimony is not without its problems in representing accurately what actually may have happened during the course of a particular alleged crime. It would not help the judicial process, for jurors to overlay their own prejudices for or against Republicans / conservatives or Democrats / 'liberals' over the evidence over the evidence that had been given.

    The Problem With Eyewitness Testimony

FRONTLINE: How can eyewitness indentification go wrong?

The victim's conviction in this particular scenario is not necessarily a lay down misère in favour of the prosecution. The defendant's principal hope is that his counsel is competent and can offer a sound, vigorous defence; it also helps if the jury examine the evidence without prejudice; and that the Judge competently manages the procedural aspects of the trial: Having an incompetent prosecutor would be a bonus.

Haven't any of you guys ever watched Boston Legal???:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I hear you talking, but it is all coming across is Yadda Yadda Yadda Yadda! and quite frankly if the State of Penn. wanted to save the cost of an executioner, I would do it for free to include paying for my own lodging and transportation to and from the execution site.
Besides, forget the wife's testimony. I will make my decision strictly on forensics. Was the victim armed (no). Does the forensics show one shot was from a distance, and one shot was from less than 6 feet (if these are yes, I am satisfied it was murder). There are a few other things that would ensure this beyond any shadow of doubt. Ear witnesses (definite lag time between shots). Forensics showing shooter stood over victim for final shot.

The prosecutor will be easily to tell if indeed he fired the second shot while the victim was on his back and he stood over him so, yes, the guy is toast, hopefully soon to be burnt toast.
