Here is a Kelly kettle I have had for a few years it's a good little cooking stove it works great and can boil water and cook all at the same time with only twigs

I cannot believe you just put spray cheese in ramen noodles. I have never thought of that. Only thing I ever added to ramen was veggies (corn or mixed). Fun video. Nice Foon

Great vid, love watching the safe controlled fire and seeing all the leaves etc blowing around. Kelly kettle porn is always appreciated. Love ramen noodles as part of a meal, goes good over rice or veggies, use the packets with rice or other noodles as well. Has a lot of salt, but it will stretch out survival basic foods, works well for lunch as a replacement for a sandwich, and you can add or subtract what you please, cheese and hot sauce sounds good, last Monday at work I had hot shrimp with noodles over left over broccoli and a side of tomato sandwiches and it tasted a lot better than a Big Mac to me.

my motorcycle camping gear includes a Kelly Kettle, a Hennessy jungle hammock, a small down sleeping bag, a fly/spin fishing kit from Marlboro cigarette coupons, headlamp and two LED hurricane lanterns with magnetic bases, some freeze-dried stuff to eat and drink in case the creek is dried up, a slingshot, Colt Woodsman, a small Rosterel machete, a collapsable water bucket, a small shovel that doubles as an ax, rain gear, dope bag, trash can liner, a Martin backpacker guitar, and fire starters that I made from fat-lighter saw dust (chainsaw size) in cardboard egg cartons filled with paraffin wax..Total kit packs small and is easy to walk away with if the bike breaks down.

Wonder if they have genetically modified cows to produce that squirt cheese yet on tap?

It's nice that they changed the pot stand from aluminum to stainless steel. (and the cork from real cork to silicone) The stainless pot stand might weigh just a bit more. I can't do a weight comparison since my aluminum one has half melted away. Yes, it'll get HOT!

@Bishop I have always thought about getting a Kelly Kettle... You have convinced me it would indeed be a good purchase! Thanks, Bishop! BTW What I like about your videos is there is no bullshit, no hype, just pure common sense practical stuff. Thanks again!

    Love my Kelly Kettle.

Even though I no longer do wilderness camping, it is great for quick snacks or day trips.

Unable to use !! waste of money !! no matter what I use for tinder/fuel, even though its totally dry, and the kettle is placed correctly and the weather conditions are perfect i.e. no wind/rain/etc., all I get is huge billows of black smoke with loads of complaints from those around me - so as I said it's a waste of money for me. I've followed lots of advice and tips and watched countless youtube videos but I just can't use it because of the smoke. Cannot recommend this. Incidentally, I got the largest model with all the added 'extras' which makes it even more of a waste of money !!

I think that is the first negative review of a Kelly kettle. I have heard nothing but praise of easy/ convenience of the unit. Thank you for your input, I wonder if others have had excessive smoking issues.

Believe me I didn't give up easily !! but it didn't matter what I did or what I tried I just got the same result - as you say 'excessive smoking issues' making it unuseable and anti-social - and I really stunk of smoke after trying and trying. I have been very disappointed as I was really excited to try this and the idea of 'free fuel' really appealed to me but no luck !

@Wean, sorry to hear about your disappointment. I have two of the big ones and the only thing that I get out of the top is flame.
Have you contacted the people at Kelly Kettle? They are very responsive to any quality concerns with their product. I have a thread on here somewhere about their outstanding customer service. If you have a problem with their product you should let them know.
