Thanks guys. Seems like I have found a safe place for honest communication. Bout damn time. Commiefornia - made the treacherous drive there recently. Santa Cruz is nice. The explosive semis encountered in AZ on I-40 coming back, not so much. Swear on everything, I didn't know a semi trailer could melt like that. Looked something akin to what we saw 16 years ago today.
I have seen lots of car-b-ques but never a toasted tractor trailer like that. I wonder what it was hauling.
We sat there for HOURS. Saw everything up to bulldozers respond, checked up on it after getting home and headlines said one trailer had hazardous chemicals. Intense video from Firefighters as they arrived at massive truck fires on the I-40 yesterday Looks to me they burned the same.
I saw one burn once, in a rest area off the Ohio tollway. It burned faster than a redneck's mobile home. I never dreamed a truck could burn so fast. It got so hot that 2 tires / wheels blew off the hubs. And, the diesel tanks exploded. Now THAT'S hot!
