Clyde's Useless Observation of the Day

    Observation 3/15/06

Let me take a small swig before I write my 95% generalizations of the sexes[booze]:

    1) Men: always looking for ways to become less rooted or tied down.

    2) Women: always figuring out how to become more rooted and tied down.

    Commentary:

Men are nest jumpers and women are nest builders. How can we breach the chasm? I don't know. Due to a man's inate need to penetrate places that can not be discussed, women take advantage of our weakness and lull us into a false sense of liberty by liberating us from our liberty one year at a time. Then, WHAMO, your rooted. No more duck hunting, no sailboat, just a bigger home with more furniture and crap I could care less about because it roots

Conclusion: Women are evil. Men are [own2]. The penis is our demise. De Oppresso Liber

Sorry Clyde but women aren't always looking for a rooster to fill our nest. Sometimes, our nest is simply that - OUR nest.

I do agree with at least part of your conclusion but it isn't the first part [fnny]

Good Point, Righthand. Notice I stated 95%, not 100% generalization to take into account chickens who don't want to lay eggs for roosters or deal with their chicken shit.

I assumed all women would know a man's demise and the old addage of, "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach," should probably revamped to its true meaning. Stomach is a synonym of zipper before you are married and stomach for after.[touchdown]

There are inherent difference in the way men and women view their nests, their relationships, and their sense of togetherness but not all men or women fit the mold. I'm glad you allowed for that in your observation.

I was married to a man who viewed the nest I had built as his castle and I the keeper of that castle. He never wanted to venture beyond it's walls and wanted me always by his side - every waking minute. My view was more distant. The nest/castle was the security to which I could return after exploring and participating in the world.

I don't pretend to understand male/female relationships because I'm not very good at them and I certainly can't offer opinions on the relationships of others. It's all a mystery to me.

No more duck hunting? No sail boating?

All work and no play makes hubby a dull boy (and who wants one of those?!?!)

Not all women are evil.... just most of them. ;)

The ladies (that I know) on this Board have more adventure in their nature than the evil women of which you speak.

We all know those evil ones and some of us feel sorry for those of you that get caught in their nests.

Take those women out and show them that there's a real life awaiting them; far from TV land. Show them what hath been created for their enjoyment and teach them how to enjoy it. Liberate them from their ovens and show them how to cook over open flame. :)
