Rosted some oysters last night. Got a few left over and think I will bake an oyster pizza, maybe a few anchovies and a little spinach on them and a tangy cheesy. Might add a bit of ground horse radish to the tomato sauce to kick it up a bit and a sprinkle of slap yo mamma
I would have been happy to help you with those!! You're a bit too far away, dang it. I like my oysters the same way. But with Yamasa shoyu with Hawaiian chili peppers. Or raw is good too. Earlier today, I had some raw and some tempura style.
I live 300feet above the sea & 230 foot away , We have oyster beads below , many a time I will go down the bluff & collect on a Low Low BBQ them for the guests , im not in the acquired taste that I like . Fresh harvest , let sit in salt water with grain / oats for a few hrs to days , add air / bubblier 4 that time & then cook & serve . The red tide is to stop you getting free food !! UP Here !! I have built a few solar oyster harvest skiffs..for the pros who run them on floating barrels & strings , Mine are just on the beach , they look kike rocks here 6" long round Pure BS is Red Tide , the sign is up 24-7-20 years so far , but the pros harvest daily.
