Anyone have load data for Fiocchi shot shells? I can find domestic info but not for this hull. Got both high and low brass. I hate throwing out perfectly good stuff if I can reuse it! Thanks guys for any help.

    According to trapshooters.com:
"There is data published by Alliant and Hodgdon for these hulls, if the basewad height is standard. A good place to look would be on their websites."

Lyman's #5 has some data that should work.

Pull out a set of calipers and measure the hight of the brass. I believe it's the same as the Winchester XX white box, which would make that data available. It may also be the same as the Kent target loads, but should have thicker base brass, which would cost you a slight amount of powder. Good luck, let us know what you find!

Thanks for the information. I should have plenty of time to look it up today. My GF wants to go shopping! .

Another trick I've used in the past: When you find a hull that isn't listed in one or another data set, cut it lengthwise and compare it to another brand or three. Odds are very good that you'll find an exact match, and you can use the data for the known hull. Fer zample, Fed and Estate target loads are made on the same assembly lines, but Estate is not in Lyman's 5; slicing the hulls gave me the first hint of that.
Shotgun loading is far less finicky than handgun or rifle as long as you can stay within reason when it comes to staying within pressure bounds. Personally, I would not try to equate a (say) one ounce slug with a one ounce load of shot, but there are those that have. Not my cuppa.

Most guys I know load light for skeet and such, so it would be pretty easy to work up a few loads. I used to load up a pretty light .12 ga. Load for my over/under for upland game and they worked pretty well. In my 97 pump, I keep a case or two of light 8s for high speed trap at the local club, sure saves the shoulder in a 100 round shoot!!!

The length of the brass has nothing to do with reloading data

True enough, but MAY be an indication of the mfr. (Only may, so far as I know, there are no standards for brass height. In fact, as I'm sure you know, hulls with no brass at all.)
