Hi Everyone,

I'm lostinsaunce! (originally lostinsauce but I mistakenly added the "n". Someone will have to help me change it if possible lol) I was introduced to this community by Zimmy!

I'm a millennial that grew up in the city so I don't know much about survival, but I love the outdoors and everything America. I do my best to stay on top of current events and stay informed. My biggest goal in life is to not end up like the majority of my generation. You know, the ones that walk around with chips on their shoulders stuck in their own self pity and personal haves/have-nots.
I don't buy in to mainstream media or group identity politics, I'm more interested in the nuance of complex issues and subjects that effect all us law abiding citizens. I hope I can be of some use to this community and I hope to learn as much as I can from those who are better versed than myself.

Welcome aboard the monkey tree. We have monkeys of almost every stripe and persuasion. Actually that is sort of a lie. Our Code of Conduct is such that folks are supposed to remain civil with one another within the social community that was established. Over time, some folks who could not play nice and stay within the lines have been warned, repeatedly warned, and then short term banned or terminally banned. It really is rare, and I must say admin has been tolerant to the extreme at times with some of my rants. I try to be helpful, and honestly contrite when someone lets me know I have upset folks with my big mouth. Sometimes it is best to ask questions and listen rather than run your mouth with out a filter or an off switch. Trust me, as a far too frequent violator I know of what I speak. Social Justice Warriors and Snowflakes are allowed here as long as they follow the rules. Most who seem to lean that way leave of their own accord for reasons of their own choosing. Some are definitely missed, others not so much. I hope you like most learn the rules, and to love our family atmosphere home here. There is a thread for extreme rants and off color content that might offend some folks, genders, racial make up, or not be age appropriate .... "The Inferno". Use it if you feel you must. See something say something, .... to an administrator or moderator if you read something here you feel should be moved to the Inferno.
There is a "report" notation near bottom left of each post you can click on to do this. Clicking report will take you to a block where you can type in why. PMs private messages can always be used as a way to speak to a member here one on one without calling them out on something in public. You may or may not receive a reply from them. Use common sense. We do not hide much in our interactions with one another here because we are using an anonymous screen name in most cases. As you can see, I often run off at the mouth. Sorry, it comes with my age and upbringing. Think of me as an old grumpy howler monkey. Boy can I sling poop when I want to. Welcome to the tree kid. Jump in and engage folks and have fun. Use the golden rule. I am done.
