Hey a buddy of mine Joey Lujan sent me a text of a new Pana dart he came up with and boy will it fly and hit hard the improvements are the fleching that's made out of plastic broom straw who would have thought video to come these shots were fired at 35 yards
Did he make the dart part himself? I see metal piece, maybe a screw at the top. Very smart idea to use the broom straw. That adds some weight.
It's a nail that was hammered out flat then cut with a hack saw to get the 90 so it will hold on to the band the nail head is ground down but not off the straw is placed around the nail head evenly and whipped on with thread I made 6 darts in about 25 min
Not to be totally materialistic, but this looks like there might be a possibility for commercial development here. Do a patent search, check with a patent attorney. Are those thera-bands or tornaquettes (sorry but I couldn't remember how to spell this word) or compression bands? Might try surgical tubing (ala wrist rocket). I think Brownells sells it in a variety of sizes.
I have talked to one of the biggest slingshot makers here in the us and the liability will stop it from being on the big market I have other stuff to and it's all the same you think ar 15 and yard darts are bad this would end up the same way
Bishop , could you do a quick video of how you go about making them. I just like seeing someone do their artwork , then I can tweak it , if need be , to fit my tools , needs , abilities. Thanks. If it's not to much trouble.
YEP I keep forgetting about lawyers. Even a kit would be open to liability law suits. You can't outlaw stupid. Just the same. Look into getting patent or a copyright on the concept
What kind of nails are those? Where are they available? They look like old cut nails and are too long for horseshoe nails. They look like they're about a 10 d nail.
Hard case concrete nails I don't know what size I just walk around the hard ware store until I find what looks like it will work.
