Beck did an excllant job providing an admittedly one-sided presentation( the "other" side) "globe-al gorming"..

I connot believe any scientist would stand for thois midle ages crap... " You can't question the dogma or you lose your job???[troll]

Science is not about consensus.Do your research post your data for peer review. Debate and discussion are cornerstones in the advance of knowledge.

Guess what folks. The climate is changing. It slightly warmer now; the link between c02 and temperature may be backwards in als movie, temperature may lead co2 increases.not vice versa.[beat][beat]

I agree that yes the climate is changing, just like it has in the past. Humans will learn to deal with it or be wiped of the face of the earth just like other animals that have failed to deal eith it in the past. How much of this climate change is due to humans, maybe some. For the most part I believe we are going through a cycle like earth has in the past.

Basic law of photosynthesis. The more CO2, the better plants thrive and produce O2 as waste product, goodness, I did learn something in college. I saw Al Gore on Oprah pitching his wares (yes, you get bored here) and all I can say is that he is a tard and thinks we are ll the same.

Watched it... loved it! Especially the look back at the "global cooling" hysteria of the 70's. OMG Canada is going to be iced over! [LMAO]

But this is the last time I'm tellin y'all.... The Debate is Over! [LMAO]

CO2 is natural, and can never go away, so they get to keep their agenda alive for ever if we buy into it.
Virtually they could ride this horse forever and keep their budgets for research up and running just as long if they can just program the next generation into believing it.

Sadly, the scientific world runs on dogma. Any who run against the grain, had better have INCONTROVERTIBLE proof! Even then, he may be plowed under. Remember, these people get their paychecks on grants - and they depend on the government believing their "data" in order to secure those grants. If young Dr. Dork comes up with proof that the World As Seen By Big Science has been wrong - they will boil him in oil. For women scientists, the Scientific World has an adamantium "glass ceiling". She has virtually no chance of fighting The System. The infighting and clic development in Big Science is one of their dirty little secrets. [own2]

The recent Official Report on Global Warming was one of the finest examples of total fabricated BS and wishful thinking I've seen yet from our august scientific leaders. Hope they used soft paper - this could be better than the old Sears & Roebuck catalog for the outhouse.

IMHO, this global warming is just another anti-industrial movement --the only thing is that it's only USA's industrialization that is targeted. Socialist Worker States don't need to worry unless they don't meet their output quota for WalMart.

Furthering the regulations that will come from the EPA and other regulatory agencies making it financially impossible for American companies to build new factories, refineries or power plants, as if the current regulations don't already make construction projects costly enough. If only these scientist could look past the tips of their noses instead of next years grant money, too bad logic doesn't enter into the picture. [beat]

Summer coming, Kalifornia hasn't built a power plant or high voltage power line in 20 years, I think I'll cause another brownout and jack up their prices again this summer.

Did Texas ever get those coal-fire power plants built? I remember hearing about the controversy but never followed up on it to see if they actually were built or not. [dunno]

They scrapped plans to build eight, three are still in some stage of planning.

We just went through a big powerline battle around here( podunk wi.), with growth in the us I can't believe Kalifornia anticipated all the capacity it needed when those lines were originaly built..And of course it will probably smoke the US grid ( wait for it... big al's favorite word: "IF") we get warmer summers and all those suburban driving yuppies crank up the a/c at home..
