Words from a Democrat of yesterday that must seem foreign as all get out to the Dims of today. A great video from Silencerco.
One of the great speeches of our time... I am not a big John Kennedy fan but I certainly admit he was an excellent speaker and that speech(s) definitely hits home. The world would have been different if he had lived longer...those bullets killed more than him when they struck as I think they marked the beginning of the end for America.
Somehow, I have never quite figured out how, out of JFK's death came the "Great Society" that has bankrupted the government, lead to the cult of green destroying the public use of public lands, limiting our farming, fishing, and forestry practices, the EPA control of food, fuel, manufacturing, etc, the social welfare functions being transfered from the states to the federal government, equality being expanded to create special interests for almost every fringe group, health, education and employment as well as a right to a basic living even if you don't work are now rights provided by the federal government. The liberals all believe that since the cities and states can not afford to finance their dreams, the federal government must do so. It can not do so and is being attacked for both not financing their dreams and running a deficiet.
dead center hit ghrit another example of what a lot of dead people voting can do in fact his whole political life was built on dead voters and one dead president. I really like his speech after he fumbled and turned everything into a hairy Popsicle he cut and run. 1:24
As my B team SMAJ said about him "that big eared hook nosed son of a bitch" I don't know if we have enough good stewards to get the Lords country back to where it should be, but I ain't giving up yet.
RMN gave us the EPA, however, the roots still go back to the liberal turn we took after LBJ started The Great Plantation..
