A golf ball out of a sling makes a whistle.

 

Never heard of one before, but sure enough, Amazon sells them. Nice selection too.

 

What horrible sound, that first video sounds like someone is getting murdered.

I read part of the link Chell posted. Does that really lure in animals? Personally if SHTF and I heard that, I would go the other way.

 

I think the Aztec used it as psychological tool during Warfare and also sacrifices.

Could you imagine being surrounded by like 200 Aztec warriors with their death whistles blowing it just before they come in and put obsidian Blade through your chest that would be pretty intimidating

All I can think is making that sound at night at a campground full of city folks
