Seriously though, it's pretty awesome to see some fellow Fallout fans here. Makes me want to get my install fixed! Damn Bethesda for making game after game after game that gets corrupted so easily. :/
My first was New Vegas. Have it on Xbox. Then I played 3 to the end, and 4 until it crashed. I like to mod a lot though. So it's probably my fault. :'(
An online multiplayer version of Fallout right after the Great War could be awesome. Honestly though, I'm more than a bit apprehensive after playing Skyrim online. It would be awesome to see more online games that limit the amount of people on a server. Particularly with a game like Fallout. I would imagine a server limited to the amount of people that would feasibly fit in Vault 76, and maybe a few others. Too many people in the game makes it suck, IMO.
Windows 7 for 3, and Windows 8.1 for 4. I do understand that the problem lies in unverified mods. A lot of people make mods without understanding the framework. I'm a long time modder myself and recognize the issue. It's just some people have awesome ideas that are not carried out properly. It's one of those cases where you never know until you try. My Fallout 4 install crashed about the time my little angel was born. Been focusing on her ever since, and gaming fell to the wayside.
I cut my teeth in online gaming with Freelancer, a game I continue to play. It had a unique system that I would love to see come back. You could set up your own private server that was invite only. That is something most modern MMorpg's lack. The ability to exclude the douche nozzles and tools.
fallout 76 is online but it is not an MMO it is a "shared world" shooter with about a dozen players per game supposedly it also has a single player mode or somethin

the dates yet supposedly if ya preorder the game ya may get access to the public beta they said the xbox one beta will launch first
the PC beta will launch sometime after the xbox one beta they said all other platforms will also get the beta around the same time the PC beta launches preordering it should get ya on the list to get into the beta but might not guarantee that ya will get access to it
@Guerrilla Tactical ya could open the mod page then disable the mods one at a time until ya figure out which mod broke fallout 4 ya might have to do it more than once since there could be several unstable mods
