Alex Jones Has Been Deplatformed 2018

He is getting sued by 4 Sandy Hook families for defamation. Those two speaking in the video said that Alex Jones platform has been taken away but it hasn't. He still has his show and twitter.

They chose to not have him on their website. They can do that. There is another site like youtube. Cannot recall the name but it has conservative view videos.

 

Don't agree with Alex Jones 99% of the time, but I stand on his side in this particular battle. It's always OK for the left to say what they will, but anyone with an opposing view eventually gets stifled.

 

This is not a free speech, 1A issue.

 

Right to refuse service. And it is a slippery slope. Do we want Congress dictating businesses. Mr Jones can show his videos elsewhere.

Highly recommend minds.com and gab.ai . Moto is dead right, any private business has a right to refuse service for any reason. Therefore it makes sense to do whatever we can to endorse alternate sites. If we want freedom of speech, we're going to have to fight for it. I think Jones is a whack job (sorry fans), but I donated a few bucks to him and I have donated a few dollars to gab and minds.

 

I found myself (during my life in the US, when I listened to Rush religiously) agreeing with Rush quite often.

The tech companies who have deplatformed Alex Jones are under no obligation to provide Jones with a with a megaphone to spew his particular brand of tripe...it's not as if they are being forced to bake a cake for his same sex wedding.

 

Seems like ,, Free speech , the right to serve or refuse to serve , right to assemble , etc etc,,,,,are more and more being attacked by the opposing parties,,,and it ends up being a pissing match in the court system. Whatever happened to let people say what they want , it's their opinion , if you don't want to hear it , don't listen. If this store won't fix your queer cake , go to the next one , etc etc etc. it seems the whole damned world has gone stupid , every bodies offended , a victim . Bunch of freakin pansies,,,
