Kelly Kettle Giveaway (used) Sept. 2018

For the rest of the month of September, 2018 I am running a giveaway contest, and the winner will receive my used aluminum Kelly Kettle.

It's used, it's ugly, it smells like charcoal, it has been with me to Iraq and all over the mountains and I have made hundreds of cups of tea and many meals with it. The fire base is still good, just bear in mind that Kelly Kettle does not recommend you use the steel hobo stove with the aluminum base. If you're worried, just buy a small steel base for it (although I have had no issues). The kettle and base do have some dents, but it still works great. It does come with the original green carry bag, too.

HOW DO YOU WIN?

All entries during the month of September will be considered, but ONLY if you post that you're interested in winning in this thread. You may make as many threads as you like, there is no limit on the number of entries. But remember, quality over quantity!

Myself and the rest of the staff will judge who the winner is based on the content, views, and overall response, so make your threads as high quality as you can! Use pictures, write your well thought opinions, create a poll, and take some time writing about what you found to be useful to the equipment topic or bushcraft topic. At the beginning of October, the staff will decide and announce the winner.

I will need to ship the kettle out to the winner, so if you are not comfortable with me knowing your address, please do not enter.

Just say "Brokor, I want to participate" (or something similar) in this thread, then get started posting. Get started early, the more posts you make, the better your chances of winning will be. (yes, I will clean the kettle first before shipping)

 

Off topic, but the mag follower spring is suspect. Bending the carrier would take deliberate meddling. If you have the fed waterfowl spacer, put it in and see if there's a difference; If so, the spring is cheap.
New barrel? I can't imagine that being a problem, but it could be. Carefully measure and compare it with the old one to be sure.
