I haven't had a chance to check these guys out, but see they are local to the PNW and offer some nice looking products at what seems to be good prices! I wonder if they have a store front where a person could try this stuff on and see how it fits and if the quality justifies the price!
    Have a look.

Off-Topic: As liberal as the PNW states are, there seem to be a lot of conservative pro-gun minded folk, preppers, and survivalists in that part of the country. It is also a very beautiful area.

    Looking at their site now.

EDIT: After viewing the introductory video, I have determined that guy is definitely not the sharpest pencil in the box.

I have noticed that about the PNW states as well. Also, lots of prepper fiction is based in the PNW.

It's a long standing habit we have in the PNW, a lot of folks come from the days when things were a lot simpler, and the economy was what the State determined by it's labors! Oregon particularly is/was a very rural state and you had to be self sufficient, so "Prepping" had to be a part of life!

I also think a number of tech companies settled in the pnw because of the low regulatory climate and their liberal employees took over a number of highly populated enclaves. For example, Oregon would be a red state if it weren't for Portland. Washington would be a red state if it weren't for Seattle and the burbs of Seattle.

I saw some body armor on fleebay about a year ago that went under your clothes and covered part of your leg. I don't see it now.

I grew up in Seattle and I can assure you no one is more shocked than me of what has become of the PNW. In truth, a major portion of the population remain in the camp of Right but unfortunately the Left controls the government which truly is a matter of money - meaning - when Microsoft invaded Redmond, WA they brought with the ~600 other high-tech companies. These high-tech companies were and are big money and money controls our politics. It's that simple. You control the politics means you control the government. It is a pity but doubtful things will change as that money is still there as is the control it brings of the government .

@Seepalaces You nailed it! That is exactly the case.

I wonder how long it will be before we all will need to be wearing this Body Armor? Strange as I was recently considering the need for some after watching that ANTIKA that was recently posted as found it very, very disturbing...

EDIT: Yes, just made the decision that I need to get body armor for wife and myself sometime this winter, better to have it and not need it...

This makes things a lot more subtle then plates and carrier! I'm really looking hard at this for the very same reasons, discreet cover and protection, not just from firearms but stabbing and slashing as well as blunt force contact!

Yes, my thoughts also... I'm pretty busy right now as we maximize the last of the good weather to get outside things done but we'll be looking into this around December/January and probably start a thread on the topic, more people researching means a greater array of knowledge.

They say "Most" Garments come in under 6 pounds, That's not all that bad considering the level of protection and flexibility that Plates don't offer!

Here is another consideration My wife and I have discussed at length, Armor needs to be "tailored" for females, and this option offers a much more wearable option then vests or plates!

I think it's worth the investment to learn how to make your own ,especially if you can make it to fit .
Any thing is better than nothing ,and unless you are completely covered, there is no good reason to stand out and let your self get shot. Taking and using cover is still the better move, armor is only a lite back up provision .
knowing fibre glass has this capability , it might be advantageous to make one's own hand and arm armor which are exposed firing from behind cover .

This seems like a good plan, do you have any ideas on where to start?
