Wish I could get into the FPS games. LOL I seem to be stuck in the time between 1997 and 1999. With the old MMORPGs UO and RuneScape and the 1997 Game of the year Total Annihilation that amazingly there there are still a group of about 50 of us that still connect machines with IP game option. LOL when two or more people that have been playing that game for 21 years sit down to battle each other a single game can last for endless hours. Longest game I have heard of lasted 34 hours and ended in a draw, my personal longest was 17 hours and was won because my opponents internet crashed. Then we get the occasional nooblet that is wiped out in less than 10 minutes on average. LOL my very first brand new in the box PC was won in a TA Tournament in December 2000 and came with jewel of a OS Windows ME :) Which was a huge step up from my 200mmx windows 95 system that I cobbled together from dumpster parts. And here I am in 2018 playing the same game on a machine that me and tech friend cobbled together to have high performance and runs on XP Pro solely for playing IP TA Games.

Occasionally I get a wild hair and try out a FPS like fallout or halo and just can't get into them :(

Soooo it is Old games for like TA fer me :)

Is this 'Fallout 76' actually different from the normal Fallout 4 because I thought it was basically the same but would be multi-player on internet servers?

Now, are you saying they might release a single-player PC version or wishful thinking? :)

Cough still have my old 200MMX system that I believe has a 11.2 dial up modem in it, and it still powers up. The XP system is strictly for playing those old games SP and MP via direct IP connections. This piece of junk HP bargain bin junker I am using now for online is going to get replaced soon with............

sure, we can be there less than 5min away over the net :) :)

    we have ways :) :)

also can be on call 24/7

plus we can add so much redundancy into the builds that ya will have multiple redundant ways to get on if something does break, as long as the budget allows

nobody can replace your computer geek uv cuz :) :)

Minor thread jacking. Got the next scope yesterday and it has shrank down from 3" long and 3/4 of the way around to about the size of a lima bean. Surgery to remove it in January and drinking a gallon of the meds per week until then. It did leave a lot of scar tissue on the sphincter between the stomach and small intestine that has lost its elasticity due the the scar tissue. That will be corrected in January as well by removing scar tissue and expanding the sphincter. Right now it is stuck 1/4 of the way open, which is a lot better than it being pretty much stuck closed like it was. Doc took several biopsy samples while down there around the lima bean but believes the only cancer is the lima bean size area and all that nasty tissue in the pic plumed out from the lima bean. All that grey and black tissue is just gone now. Blood test are also coming back normal now. Still going to have some real bad bad days and hurt a lot until that sphincter is fixed or hopefully breaks the scar tissue on its own and starts working again. But overall things are really looking up and instead of a major reconstructive surgery a minor remove a very small area out patient surgery. Now to go enjoy a nice class of radioactive chemical shake for breakfast with a acid suppressing chaser :) Not pleasant but hey the crap is working!
