Sorry to hear that news. So prove the docs wrong and have a blast doing it! My brother was diagnosed with cancer 6 years ago and given a year. Moved him in with us 5 years ago and got him into the Waco and Temple Tx VA and we just lost him this summer. He worked here in my shop up until his last week and died of a heart attack. So fix bayonet and CHARGE!!

Our prayers are with you. Every person is different and we hope your difference gives you the edge. Live today, remember the best of yesterday and hope for the best tomorrow. Like it or not, we all live in the present and can only hope God gifts us with pleasant tomorrows.

Hey Paul, knew about this from talking to you on Discord but not the time line. Very sorry to hear that. Your a fighter so give it hell. You should take 3M-TA3's advice and come back to the states to at least get OHSU's opinion on your condition and options.

    Zimmy Wait, I'm not ready!

The Chinese and Tibetans have a completely different set of strategies in fighting cancer. You might want to investigate success rates over in there.

I know......I was raised to hate Commie scumbags like the rest of our generation, too. You are there and have an opportunity to check most Americans don't have.

Chinese Medical treatment isn't just 9mm pills to the head anymore.

Regardless, my prayers are with you and your family that your lives be as gentle and pleasant as they can be.

Man, this news sukz PAUL, so sorry to hear your diagnosis! Remember this; The Doctors don't know squat about life expectancy, so 6 months to a year is a standard canned response, your body is the ultimate judge of things, as well as your attitude! Give it hell, and fight with every breath you take, don't let this defeat you, kick it's ass!

I frickin HATE cancer, i really really do, It took my first Wife from me at the age of 27, and it is taking my Mother now! I have declared WAR on cancer, and there are an awful lot of things you can do to give your self a better chance! Marijuana has proven to help and even cure some types, do your research and find out all you can! Outside of the medical benefits, MJ will help keep you eating when you don't feel well enough to eat, and will help with any pain issues that will come eventually! DON'T EVER GIVE UP!

As we talked about before, You really should come home and get in at OHSU in Portland, or the Cancer Institute of America, the campus in Arizona would be a top choice as well! They both work together well and combined they have access to every single bit of research there is, and both have access to the latest and greatest treatment options you will find any where!

We are praying for you my friend, and if you need any thing, I'm right here!

I am saddened to hear the prognosis. We're all visitors on this terra firma plane of existence, and will eventually be in a better place. I pray that whatever time you have is pain free, and long enough to take care of your affairs. I hope these future weeks/ months/ years remaining give you the time to enjoy the things you like, to not stress over the unimportant, and give thanks to all of those whom you love for being part of your walk on this earth. Keep in contact with us Monkeys as long as you're comfortable at it.

Lemme give ya some background, Steve Jobs [ the co-founder of apple Inc. ] was diagnosed in 2003, he delayed treatment for about 9 months and several doctors later said it was a mistake to delay.

    He passed away in 2011.

His was the treatable form, if he had acted sooner he might still be alive.

Your type might be different, however it would not hurt to at least try and at a minimum get 4-8 more second opinions.

OHSU would be gud, or the Mayo Clinic or Sloan Kettering [ NYC ] or the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore

    Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center

My mother passed in 1968 from breast cancer. Her doctor had a vacation planed so he waited until a month had passed before operating on her,by then it was too late so she didn’t have it.My sister had breast cancer twenty years ago and was operated on one week after she was diagnosed, cancer free since then. My brother in law had colon cancer about thirty years ago,had his colon out and been cancer free since then. Brother in law went straight to surgery after he was diagnosed. What I’m trying to say is get toa good cancer doctor quick and your chances are a 1000 times better. The quicker you are the better off you are. Also my mother lived close to five years with the breast cancer without being operated on,she was a fighter and fought it to the end.
    Please don’t give up.
