Ive owned A LOT of great knives in my life(and lost most of them out in the mountains) But I think this one has all of them beat hands down as far as regular pocket knives for me.

The handle is solid Stainless Steel (Just like my Sig's!) and I have always been fan of the Tanto tactical knives. I got it for $40 last night at Dick's sporting goods.
I cut a soda can in half, and it was just as easy as cutting cardboard.

Heres a pic and more Info:

Cool. That handle shape looks just like a Hinderer XM-18, My EDC folder.
Mines called a Spanto tip and is Ti handle

Yeah those handles do look alike. Makes sense I guess, since both knives were designed by Rick Hinderer.
Thanks for the welcome by the way!

You know more about knives than I do, so let me ask you this.

What is that half circle cut out on the blade for? The area thats between the finger guard/quick lever and where the blade begins to get sharp?
These are the only type of knives I have seen it on.

Most other knives are just a straight blade to the finger guard, but these have a large curve on them. [dunno]

That area is where you put your finger for greater control like when you are carving around bones. Put your finger behind the finger guard for regular slicing, cutting, thrusting, etc. Put it in front of the finger guard and you'll notice a completely different feel to the knife. Needless to say don't put your finger there if you are exerting a lot of force on the knife as to no finger guard.

Welcome! Those look great. I just picked up a used Gerber today with a 3.5" half serrated blade for 15.00 at a pawn shop. Factory sharp with nylon sheath.

You know now that I think about it. I wish my knife's handle was just like the one you have a picture of.

Mine has more exposed metal, and in the winter time with no gloves that may be hard to hold.
