It is my hope that while the Democratic House is busy trying to impeach President Trump, that the Republican Senate will be busy appointing Federal judges as fast as they can. Go nuclear on them, if called for.

She does not have to attend. Ginsberg has already canceled two appearances for February. There is an internet conspiracy theory that she is in a medically induced coma but that is only a rumor. At her age and after having major surgery then pneumonia, she will not recover quickly. She has no fat on her, she has no reserves to help her recover

I count at least 25 "Where is Ruth Ginsburg" memes active on the web.

This is no joke. If she is unable to fulfill her duties she should resign - the Court is currently in session.
That she naps (and snores) during oral arguments should have been enough.

There is a move to push "30 years and out" legislation for the USSC. A possible bad move, but then, when CONGRESS pushed thru how the Senate was elected, I guess it was only a matter of time...

At a minimum, Trump should make a public visit/announcement to assure the Nation RBG is at least still using oxy.....

If i was the Great Orange One, i would have a stepping down speech all ready and Mike Pence fully briefed in with SCOTUS picks, hand it all over before hand and watch the dems go full retard!
Have a plan with the repubs to push the Nuke option and ram rod it all through with no counter offensive!

Really, its the best option to stop the dems in their tracks!

Supreme Court tradition is for fellow justices' to ask that she retire for the good of the Court and the Country...of course she doesn't have to retire.

"The Word" on Fox this morning is that she's been seen in public. No confirmation as of 0830 EST.

Melania had an operation and no one saw her for 20 days. The press went wild. We have a very old, very sick SC justice missing. Proof of life is needed.

Was she at the SOTU? I don't recall seeing her or hearing her name mentioned.

I would definitely vote for a '30 and out' option, if they would allow people to have a voice, but think 30 is a bit long, 20 or 25 would be better. Ginny was appointed in 1993 by Clinton which would make her 60 yrs old at the time of her appointment... So we would keep her until she was 90?!?! Does she report to the bench in a wheelchair and oxygen tank with a nurse at her side? Ridiculous!

Hell, the USSC is more powerful in the long run than a President or even Congress. This life-long tenure is ridiculous in the 21st century. The woman is 82 for goodness sakes! And, technology, society, literally everything moves so fast now days and we have a USSC Justice napping while they are in session? "X and out' or some mandatory retirement age but this is another law that needs to be implemented that will never see the light of day and someday will indeed bite us in the a$$... Also, the same needs to done for Congress...
