Lot of people have gotten them. Threw mine in the trash....also the next one and the next one. And when the census woman came around AFTER she had called like 50 times ( no lie ), I told her I was NOT GOING TO PARTICIPATE and GET OFF MY PLACE.

They have a small bark and no bite.

The Constitution provides for an accounting of the populace but nothing else. In the last census I put how many people lived at this address and that's it. Anything else is nobody's business and they have no legal right to ask it.

    That article says

"Unfortunately, the survey is not voluntary. Answering the questions is not a polite request from the Census Bureau. You are legally obligated to answer. If you refuse, the fines are staggering. For every question not answered, there is a $100 fine. And for every intentionally false response to a question, the fine is $500.

    Can this be true?

This is what I'm wondering, I'll let you know when the storm troopers come knocking [beat][smsh]

I have no issue telling the census how many people live here, but that's it, the last in 2000 I had a long form and a visitor, it was a quick visit for them as I wouldn't answer any questions other than the total head count. At that time they didn't push the issue with me said thanks and left.

I just have a real issue with big brother asking me where I live, how much money I make, how many rooms I have in my house, what time I leave for work, damn thing has these questions for each member of the family, surprised they don't ask where I keep my guns.

This really got my goat today when I sat down and started reading it:mad::mad:
