nope , still working on it , did a 2 tonn pull and broke tool steal tool on a 5/16 wire rope .
Im figuring they dropped the pump to low in the screen area and it's stuck BAD .
On measuring of drops , pump feed, water head , ,pull line that has water marks, total drop ..
New tools required to build , Im going to cut the pump drop pipe from the inside the pipe and then the wires from outside of the made pull Guillotine ..
Drop a new pump on the old one below the new . .
If i pull the screen , well is toast .
    .
    This could get $$$$$$
I find out the installers were kids , or under trained.

We have a local water system that the pump was dropped in and could not be fished out. What we did was to measure and put a new pump just right above the dropped one. That was about twenty five years ago and the well is still producing. You don’t want to mess the screen up when putting the new pump in and you will be alright.

And this is why I don't care for submersible pumps.

Anyhow...burning some old punky wood, loaded up old batteries from two generations of solar, dug potatoes, pulled onions, blasphemed at the tomatoes that won't turn, moved tower sections close to their final location....

    ...And...

    Zimmy Wait, I'm not ready!

Tightened up a troublesome doorknob again, changed a leaky hose bib, painted a wall I built on my box trailer, investigated what goes bump in the attic at night, moved wife's heavy yard art crap, coached a young woman on her rifle shooting, cooked a score of steaks, made a big pot of white beans with homemade pancetta, fixed a couple of leaky trailer tires, and ran out of moonshine.

I cleaned out and shredded old paper work this weekend... my least favorite job but have to do it annually or the paper becomes overwhelming

Got the Pump pulled , six ton on a 5/16 wire rope tool I made , plus the other tools I made , the pull Guillotine
would not work since they put centering spiders at 30 feet down and another at 120 foot .
Frigging KIDS ,, Just one is required and just above the pump .
The torque arrestor was over expanded and when installed it made the wings point downward , preventing the pump to rise .
3 weeks I have been on this ,making tools , getting cams to view ,
Made a killer knife to pierce and cut the rubber arrestor
    IMG_2391. IMG_2390.
Notice the 1/8 npt fitting to 1/8 hose, I used a 3500 psi 4gpm pressure washer at surface and forced water down 1" steel sch 40 pipe
    IMG_2393.
One inch pipe with a SS316 knife & blades bolted on , hack the rubber apart .
    140 foot down , or so .
Next was cleaning as of today , 150' of sch 40 1/2 pipe to feed air , 3/4" sch 200 to be the uplift drain , lifted all the rust bits and NO sand , When I pull the cleaning pipes (waiting on younger buddy's tonight ) @68 , know your limits, sex is a work up nowadayz ! ;)
then I'll drop 40# of dry ice down the hole to remove all rubber and have my excavator bucket on backwards to deflect the geyser that will follow .
