I post a lot on my FB Business and Market pages. I know many here do not use FB but I also know many here do use FB I don't want to get into the whole FB is evil or not things here. I just want to extend the invitation to those that do use FB to check out the pages, I do post a lot of information and pictures on them that some might find useful and enjoyable........... Course I also get thrown in FB Jail on a fairly regular basis as well A couple of folks have suggested I throw the links to the pages up here so there they are. Won't bore your with the market pages as they are just the week to week marketing the market and whats going on at the Markets. Edit: BTW Not trying to sell anything here. Would be kind of pointless since I don't ship and not Many Monkeys close enough to me Thunder 5 Ranch Chuck Wagon The second link is to the oldest page that has the most stuff feel free to dig through 8 years or so of my rambling Thunder 5 Ranch
Loved most of the pictures, cringed at the wind damage to greenhouse. Reskinning mine any day now and leaks so I am not running blower and it flaps enough to frighten you at times.
I just checked out your page and I saw that one day you had smoked bologna. That is a new one to me. The only bologna I know if Oscar Meyers or the deli stuff. Your stuff looked really good.
I liked the post you had in there about the Fees the greedy cities try charging you , congrats to ya fer not giving into the b'stards . Everything looked great ,
Well I must give you credit for having some great looking food !!! I'd eat at your place vs any greasy chain dive first!
What can I say I love Spiderwort................ prettiest flower in my woods IMO That is a topic that sends me all nuke. I can understand the County Health Department Fee's as they are seriously underfunded and way short on manpower. Most of their Fee's are $100-$125 per year. The State and Fed Fees You pay and get nothing in return and well just can't do business anywhere without paying them. The City Fees.......... I am not giving some fat body city clerk $50 per day for the honor of selling in their one horse town that does not even have mini mart. Not yer typical Food Truck by a long shot That Hurt Bad this year..... 80mph sheer wind hit straight down right beside and just blew the entire east side out. LOL I was standing in it tilling the beds when it hit. Bad thing is I had just put that skin on last fall Then it has been too wet to even think about skinning it since then. Can't get the bucket tractor to it, ladders just sink and sink and sink. Ahhh well I prefer skinning them when it is the hottest day and the film is all expanded and stretch, so when it gets cool it contracts nice and tight. I do love how it ripped it as smooth as a razor knife down the east side right along the U channel boards. That is the Weekly Market Special again next week. Smoked Bolognas were pretty common where I lived in TN and I learned the art from those good ole boys. FOlks around here were a bit leery of it at first but curious enough to try it....... Now I hear " It Doesn't even taste like Bologna!"
The hard thing about Facebook is the fact...you drop your pants and loose your opsec the moment you like, comment or otherwise post. Not hard to track most people from one profile to another if you think about it. We all have favorite phrases, writing styles and so on. As a side note, I do have a FB account, but I never cross family activities, to "other" Monkey type activities. Many know my name here..... only a couple have my full name.... and little have much more that. Facebook is great and a lot of fun..... but the young ones now days have no idea how the crap they post, affect their future. We even look them up on FB prior to an interview, party boys and girls need not apply...amongst all the other potential negatives one shows on that platform!! LOL
Funny (not) that you bring up FacePlant histories and employment: We're doing a lot of interviews right now. Targeting new college grads with the potential for grooming into real live useful techies. The slots all start ~ $75k/yr + excellent bennies. Starting this year HR has provided a new form with a link to all the subjects profile pages. FakeBook, Linked-in, any professional blogs they inhabit, as well as any other sites a 3rd party spider engine turns up. We the interviewers are "encouraged" to peruse these sites, and use the results in our write-ups for the prospective candidate. I would say that approx 20% are eliminated without even a return call based on their public history. Taking a few days off classes to attend an Antifa riot is NOT considered a positive attribute, nor being arrested or bragging about tearing down a statue....
The trick to FB is keeping personal just that personal. I put a lot out there and it is all true and accurate but it also only half the story or less. LOL I use one of my bogus accts for commenting and liking on other pages that might be questionable. Usually https://www.facebook.com/charles.dapimpio I use secondary computer, different ISP and different IP when using the bogus accts and if something is too questionable use a proxy to be posting from some 3rd world country (Which is also handy for buying something online as many companies use regional pricing and you can say buy something using a Brazil proxy for 10%- 20% of what it would cost to buy using USA) LOL used to make a good Chunk of change buying EA Game Codes from South and Central American EA Stores and then reselling them for $2 less than The EA USA Store . You are right most people have writing styles and wording that make them identifiable, a good bogus account does not and one is very careful to use a much different writing style and different key words that fit the fictional personality. One thing to always remember about the internet is you really never know who is who. Unless you know the person IRL and can verify in person. Now who really annoys me are the people on FB that literally have to make post every time they give birth to a turd or go get a soda or sneeze.
