Well, 93% of you, anyway. At least. And that's just in the first year. It won't get easier after that.

Here's David Adair being interviewed on Believe:

Watch this from the start if you want to get into a little bit of his background--or just pick it up at 1:15:00, when he delivers his "Emergency Message".

David Adair has a lot of videos on YouTube, and a lot to say . The first one I saw was his interview with Linda Moulton Howe. It's fascinating stuff. Go watch it. You won't be sorry you did.

However--all of that aside--he has some very interesting things to say about the actual effects of a North Korean EMP attack on the United States. He makes One Second After look childishly superficial--bearing in mind that the author did not have access to the kind of information that Dr. Adair does.

Take note when he mentions the EMP blackout of the entire Asian coast in 1955.

This video might motivate a lot of people to modify their contingency plans.

Bring it. What I see wandering around out in society, 90% could stand to be culled.

Of the 7% who do survive I would imagine most of them will be current serving military personnel.

I would not be so sure of that... There are a lot of variables involved. I know overseas bases don't stock an abundance of food, some yes, but not enough for all the troops AND their families and certainly not for an extended duration. Also, the majority of the equipment is not hardened against a EMP strike.

I think the oil exploding in the transformers would screw me as we're surrounded by forest. I guess I would be in the 93%...nothing I can do to stop a forest fire.

I did look up the SHIELD Act and found nothing referencing EMP or hardening infrastructure against one. There is a Shield Act reference the Military and LEOs getting paid in the event the debt ceiling is reached or there is a funding gap.

There was a " SHIELD Act, June 2013
On June 18, 2013, Rep. Trent R. Franks introduced the Secure High-voltage Infrastructure for Electricity from Lethal Damage (SHIELD) Act in the House." i am not sure what happened to it...

Also, there was a 'S.2445 - Grid Modernization Act' in 2018 that was read twice in the Senate and referred to the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources...where it probably died. Maybe he is saying to reintroduce the Bill...?

Interesting, he is worried about handguns, etc, societal unrest, mass collapse, etc. Never really thought of it but most fire arms are pre electronic and EMP would have no effect on them. Loading, lock mech, iron sights, ejection, pin striking primer, are all mechanical, primer and powder and combustion process is chemical, About the last totally non computer systems I know of are revolvers, rifles, shotguns, semi auto pistols, etc. May need electronics at present time to manufacture weapon or ammo or for enhanced sights, but do not need it for anything in actually using the weapon. All the force multiplier effects are kept by the individual that has the weapon and the "will" of the majority or the mob has no way of rendering those weapons harmless. Best way is to do away with the weapons and place all of us an even playing field and allow the "democratic will of the majority to be in control". Sound right out of Bernies, AOC, Warren, etc playbook, only they know what is best for us and they have to lead us to the promised land and prevent anyone else from stopping the dream.

Dr. Adair understands perfectly that when the poop hits the prop, everybody that's left alive will have access to a gun, and will be quite willing to shoot everyone else to doll rags to keep what they have, or to get whatever someone else has.

Let's see: 93% of 360,000,000 people is 334,800,000 dead in the first year. The 10,800,000 still alive after the first winter will do anything to stay that way. There won't be any RO)L, anywhere.

I think the majority can do away with their own guns and leave mine alone. Likewise, they can keep their "will" to themselves.

There's never a level playing field when a majority (read "mob") takes control.

When the lights go out and the majority decides it's time for me to share my preps with everyone else--which is them--because (after all!) this is America and we live in a "democracy", the first thing I'll share will be a big bucket of bullets.

I was unable to find any reference to an EMP blackout of the entire Asian coast in 1955.

I think the military will organize to take whatever they need from any local civilians, dead or alive.
Just saying they have weapons, and are already organized as a fighting unit. They are young, in good condition, and will use force to take whatever from whoever to ensure them and their families survival, and will probably have the blessing of whatever government still exists to do practically anything they want. The government will need protection and will want to control any survivors, so carte blanche for the military and police.

    Nice techie article for EMP/CME here: Nuclear EMP - E1,E2,E3 - Futurescience.com
And the .govs official reports on the matter also states explicitly that >90% of all urban population will be toast within a year.

Congress shut down the EMP Commission Sep., 30, 2017. This video has a published date of Oct., 9, 2017. Just wondering if this was made before the shutdown.
Oh, yeah, the EMP Commission was shut down by special interest groups, mainly the power companies in the US who don't want to spend the extra bucks to harden their systems against EMP & CME. It all boils down to money and the bottom line.
The last line in all this will be when we are told to bend over and kiss our rear ends goodbye.

Didn't he also mention that both EMP/CME have an E1, E2, E3 component? IIRC correctly, the CME only has the E3 component. Interesting albeit long interview, but I'll take it with a grain of salt - maybe a large grain.

Correct. At least per all the write-ups I've read.
In a nutshell - CME will take out all the long haul power distro systems, and anything directly connected to them. Think transformers, switch gear, fusing systems, and all the wall-warts you have plugged in. The CME impulse has a very long, slow rise time, and induces what is for all practical purposes as massive DC current in anything conductive and above ground. Power lines being the primary victims here along with copper comm lines, and large transformers that are really, REALLY allergic to high value DC currents.. Fiber optic stuff is immune, although the end point devices may not be. Your local hand held devices and anything that was not plugged in or connected to an antenna of sorts should survive.
An EMP sequence is much more destructive with the initial E1 pulse having an extremely fast rise time, and DC impulse in excess of 50Kv per meter. This pulse will kill off all the protective shunt diodes built into most modern electronic gates, as well as any fusing devices. The follow-on E2 pulse then kills the primary devices that have lost their protective circuits. All this followed by a CME equivalent to take out the transmission systems.
A bad day all around unless you're Amish.....
