I had Spaghetti O’s with sausage the other day. I could eat that during SHTF everyday I feel. There lies a problem with knocking bridges down behind me when I split. I may need to make a SpaghettiO’s run.

They were Costco hot dogs/sausages. Pre-cooked. That meal gets a 9 out of 10. :D

Nothing like “All Beef BallPark” Dogs chopped up and mixed in with your favorite Carbohydrate, and served in a bowl... One of my favorites is The Above, with Kraft Macaronie&Latex out of the box, and smothered with Heinz57.... Yea, Baby...

    Not a can, but...

My wife just laid a box of Zatarain's Buttermilk biscuit mix on me. Add milk, butter and bake. Simple enough even a millennial can do it. The stuff is like Bisquick, but with buttermilk already included....

1 large can on Denny Moore Beef stew.
    1 can of mixed vegetables
    OR
1 can of spuds (cut into small cubes if not already cut)

Place all items in pot over low heat.

    While the Chow is heating.--

In a large bowl, place 'about' 1 cup of Bisquick.
add 1/2 cup milk, mix with fork initially. .You will need to add a bit more milk to make a soft dough

Spoon dough (just a spoonful at a time) onto the top of the (hopefully now bubbling stew) until all dough is on top of stew. After about 10 minutes the dumplings should be fully done.

    Ladle into bowl for serving.

Easier than making biscuits to add to the stew....

When rice is done, add beans. Heat. Add sausage. (or shrimp)

spoon onto warm tortilla - add a bit of cheese - we like Kraft 3 cheese Mexican.

Minimal cooking, fast to fix.. Serves 4. We make two meals out of it just for the two of us.

    yummy and not too spicey

I just discovered this - and super easy.

whip a couple of eggs, coat chicken, drag thru the batter mix - yummy chummy.

We bake our chicken nowadays - this stuff adds the wow to what could be an ordinary meal.

They off much in the same line of products as Zaterans. - very LA chow.

    Simple Salsa Soup
    Ingredients:

    • Large Jar of Salsa
    • A Box of Chicken Broth
    • Can of Black Beans, drained and rinsed with water
    • 1 Cup of Frozen Corn
    • A Can of Canned Chicken Breast
Empty the jar of salsa into a large crockpot. Fill the jar back up with the chicken broth (I use low sodium). Replace the lid and shake to get any salsa stuck to the jar come loose. Place the contents into the crockpot. Add the rinsed black beans and the frozen corn, stir. Finally, mix in the canned chicken. You’ll find this near the tuna at the grocery store. As an alternative, you could slow cook and then shred a boneless chicken breast, too.

Cook the soup on high for 2 hours or on low for 4 hours. Serve with fresh sliced avocado, shredded cheese, fresh cilantro, and sour cream or greek yogurt on top. A side dish of rice or tortilla chips are also a nice touch.

SO Yummy! So Easy! So Affordable!

** It calls for frozen corn but I am going to try using canned corn.

We eat Hebrew National 97% fat free dogs (45 cal per dog) - Ball Park Franks are 180 cal per dogs owing to all the fat.

Which doesn't matter - we cut them up into chilli. Good eats, sorta lower cal/fat.
