...supposed home of the CoVID-19 virus
We don't need no sanitation, or refrigeration.
But then I've been to parts of the world with markets just like that.
They didn't have quite the "variety" of available foods but conditions were much the same.

UncleMorgan I like peeling bananas and (occasionally) people.

An historical video. It's not there anymore. The Chinese authorities demolished it.

That video is of Langowan, Indonesia, not in Wuhan, China, but they are all similar. The wet market in Wuhan is about 400 yards away from the Chinese Biological Warfare lab - a level 4 biological lab. Think there might be a connection?

Been to similar food markets in that part of the world but it was quite some time ago. The "cuisine" wasn't quite so extensive but sanitary practices were about the same, which is to say virtually non-existent.

And yes, the wet market in Wuhan is not too distant from their Bio-Weapons lab - which is why I used the words "supposed home" of the CoVid-19 virus when referring to the food market.

In many places I have visited, When buying meat on a stick from a street vendor never ask what kind of meat is on the stick :) Or why they are cooking it over a flaming trash barrel.

Mmmm. Satay. Sometimes you get a clue from what they dip it in before grilling.
