Seems this is now a reality... didn't check the price... just thought some might wanna know... Drop-In Trigger System - Nighthawk Custom Drop-in Parts Line
There is NO reason for this, a good quality trigger can be made from a bad one, or better, replaced with new parts for under $120 One look at the name of the company, and that explained the price, might as well paint it CAT yellow too while your at it! There isn't a whole lot here to begin with: Start with a good hammer with nice and sharp edges and smooth surfaces to the sear and half cock notch, good sear same nice and sharp and smooth. good strait strut, good main spring, good secondary/over travel spring, good smooth trigger bow and shoe that fit the frame properly! Good cleaning and if needed, stoning of the trigger bow races, and you should have a top quality trigger in your 1911! This also works for many other pistols out there, M-9's BHP, CZ, ect! There is a sucker born every min, no reason to go overboard here, and unless you collect roll marks, hard pass!
