Mine is like this..... AS PER THE GOVERNOR’S EXECUTIVE ORDER 20-12 Effective immediately, the following restrictions of the XYZ Rod and Gun Club facilities are in effect. * All group shooting events (Defensive shooting, Cowboys, Trap, Sporting Clay’s Personal/Private Practice sessions, etc.) are suspended. The Actions, Trap, and Sporting Clay’s ranges are closed. * All new Member Orientations are suspended. * No guests are allowed. * Members and their immediate family members may use the Club’s Pistol and/or Rifle Ranges provided they maintain a social distancing of six feet from any person who is not a member of their immediate family. If the six feet distancing is not possible Members shall stay off the Ranges until such time as it is possible to maintain six feet distancing. * Restrooms are closed. Failure of Club Members to follow the forgoing will result in closure of all Club facilities. Thank you from the Board of Directors
Same here as with all parks, 9 Golf courses and they included beaches , but i see folks are on the beaches in separated groups ..The radio stations all play the same crap about how thankful they are about the first respondent's..saw a cop down at a beach in his cruiser on loud speaker while folks gave him the bird , maybe 50 % of them !! cop left !! That plus more of herd control ! Sloth
Our range Tioga Sports Park is closed. Not even RSOs with keys to the range can go shoot alone. I don't get it...
Pennsyltucky. Mine is members and guests, one per member on the line. Open to members, but all public functions and competitions are cancelled.
Mine's open for members only. No guests. No group sports/competitions. And as others have noted - the 5k acres behind my house is just stepping out the back door.
My North Carolina range is open. We have closed every other shooting bench to force compliance with the Governor's social distancing guidelines. We spray each position with disinfectant after folks leave, and wear gloves when handling anything that someone else may have touched.
My back yard is always open. To the south it is about 200 yards to the trees and to the west it is about a mile.
I do miss shooting ground squirrel from the back deck.... That and my barn. Had a good mile and a half to the one house down range. But grew up fog eaters and wanted to move to the coast again. Just happy to have a good range with a good group of RSOs within 15 minute drive. Only wish it wasn't "temporarily" closed....
