1 to 10

If 1 is a Liberal Loon and 10 is a Bible Thumping Gun-Toting Conservative where do you fall? (I don’t really mean any disrespect from those terms. Well maybe just a wee bit. Oops) I’d probably say I’m a 6. I tend to be conservative but mildly. Are any of you a 1 or a 10 because if you give an inch they’ll take a mile? Now I’m going to post some goofy observations. Add yours if you want. Light-hearted at first. Lol.
If you’re broke on the side of the road you’re hoping for a 6 through 10.
Most likely to shoot up a television and leave it in the National Forest is a 9 or 10.
Driving like a prick can be a 1,2, 9 or 10.
Who I could hang out with anytime. 3 through 10.

The Finlander is likely a 5 or so. I’ll always remember him saying what “stupid loggers”would do if they’d let them. Clear-cut the planet . He could say that because he was one. Just like today’s society. Lol.

 

I've never seen a scale quite like this. I'm probably a 7 or 8. My picture is in the paper too often, but not in the post office.

Probably around a 6.5. I used to be a 3 until I disagreed in my essays with my english teacher for three semesters (she was a 1) and she flunked me until I wrote essays she agreed with...that made me switch sides so quick...

5 live yer life however you want to, as long as you are causing no real harm to anyone else BUT do it on yer own damn dime and stay out of my pockets. Neither Conservative Jesus people and Liberal believe in nothing people seem to be able to grasp that simple concept.

The old school democrats use to be about equality today the party narrative is about being divisive.
I'm republican in that I am financially conservative and dont believe in spending past your income.

Having said that, if the government can shut down jobs and destroy businesses by closing them with a 'viral pandemic' declaration, then the government should provide something to replace lost wages. However for me this would look like not taxing US citizens for a year. Not a hand out.

My point is...I think like most people I dont really fit on a scale as the two party system stands today. I dont think anyone can honestly follow blindly either party line given that the narrative is about dividing our country and trying to destroy each other.

Both sides are guilty of promoting a divisive narrative.

 

find myself sorta agreeing with Ganado there are times when I look at the 2 parties and think they are just 2 sides of the same coin...

the only real difference is how fast they take our money and rights away...
