Anyone have any recommendations for books on sheath making?

    I got a couple of knives that need a sheath.
    One is an Arkansas Toothpick inherited from my father.
    The other is a custom made blade from the Takefu Knife artisans in Takefu Village Japan.



    Any recommendations for books on the subject are welcome.

    Yeah, I learned from YouTube and started making my own leather items, no problems.
    Books are a waste of time these days when it comes to learning a trade like this.

    Obviously, padawan, you didn't think of it because you are nearly Methuselah's age and don't think weblike. Same as anyone under 40 wouldn't know what a dictionary is until they trip over one in the middle of the night (following the diuretic's directions) and looked it up later.

    Yes, I'm pretty sure I know this, got CRS this morning.

    As a training devise you might start with cardboard to make your mistakes on and work up from there.
