    I've been looking at some of the blades many of you have posted and I must say they are beautiful. I don't have any high end knives, I think my most expensive one was perhaps $100 but I can appreciate the work and material that goes into a high end knife. Thank you for sharing and please keep posting pictures. Here's a few of mine, functional but nothing fancy.

    That's a Kukri, they were made famous by the Gurkha. Excellent chopping blade, if you saw the Resident Evil:Extinction movie the heroine used a pair of them. They're designed with the "bend" to help in cutting through flesh and bone.
