I'll bet diabetes is near the top of the list. And the sad part is, most diabetes is due to or made worse by diet/lifestyle. Then there is obesity, which is also diet/lifestyle related. So I guess the major health issues effecting men are laziness and denial. I will be 56 in less than a month, and I'm in better shape than many 20 year olds. I'm not a doctor, nutritionist, or personal trainer. I just eat healthy (vegetarian), no smoking, no drinking, no caffeine, and stay physically active. Very few people are willing to do what I do. I'm not special, I just decided at an early age that I was not going to let myself turn into a fat diabetic tub of jello. My only health issue of concern is the residual effects of a childhood illness, which is under control. Heck, I'm not even into sports. My "workout routine" is walking quickly on a treadmill for one hour three times a week. Other small things, like skipping the elevator and talking the stairs, contribute to my activity. I do get a lot of compliments on my fitness, but in reality what I do is not that complicated. It's hard for me to talk about this because I don't want to come off as pompous, but I wish more people would take better care of themselves. I regularly see guys half my age who already look like shit. What are they going to be like when they reach my age, if they even make it that far?
Lethargy. "The state of being lazy, sluggish or indifferent" Mostly a mental affliction, it has secondary repercussions physically. It leads to obesity, poor sleeping habits, bad posture, etc. Be active, happy, alert to your surroundings, and maintain a positive outlook even if things appear to be going sideways. Works for me
I'm not sure I understand your statement/question correctly but, Number 1 problem with men is ignorance mixed with self assuredness. They even came up with something called the Darwin Awards just for that.
I don't think that white males are at fault for everything, but white males do indeed experience some risk factors: From the CDC-Leading Causes of Death-Males Non-Hispanic white 2016 such as white fragility...that disease is endemic and hard to eradicate.
Thanks for your reply comment. Yes, I agree most of the men are suffering from diabetes problem due to poor food diet and living a bad lifestyle. I really liked your healthy food diet and good lifestyle. I hope this will providing more health benefits in your daily life in the coming days.
