    Freezing rain isn't the problem. Lightning and hail mess them up.

    If you live in High Wind areas, then you must design your Solar Mounts as if they were never part of an aero-dynamic wing… No Lift, High Drag, design, otherwise if you find them at all, it will be Down Wind a few miles…. If I lived in hurricane Alley, I would live in a Concrete Dome, anchored to steel pilings, driven down thru Bedrock… and certainly NOT in any type of Trailer Park, Trailer…
