Heat is the real kicker. Managed to do some bodyweight excercises and a 5 mile run. Even during later hours during the day it's so hot...

I’m right where I need to be already for my tournament in two weeks. 205 or so. Like always I plan to smash.

67 pounds down and starting to feel human again. I figured out I basically self invented the 1200 calorie Keto diet plan.

    Still working the plan....

To read, I have gotten the following:

Younger next year by Chris Crowley. Some kind of motivational book for old people with science and inspirational stuff. The missus wants me to read it.

A Secular Age by Charles Taylor. This book examines the benefits of religion and the subsequent problems that atheism and over diversification of religion options can impose on a society. Historical and psychological, I should learn something.

The Value of Others by Orion Taraban. This guy is a shrink that delves into psychology of the economic relationships our subconscious overlays on our actions between the sexes. Sounds like horseshit but the things he says on his YouTube channel PsycHacks ring pretty true to me.

I'm also going back through my battered old Ranger handbook. I should probably see if there's a newer than 1987 version due to tech changes.

I don't list bad fiction either when I talk about reading material. :)

I was actually 225 plus when I started training again two years ago, hovering around 210 or so now. I can honestly say I’d ruin most fellas half of my age now although it’s not attempt to boast. It’s actually survival type $hit, relevant to the site. I can run away much better now too, a better option. Lol.

    Zimmy Wait, I'm not ready!

I was 300 and still not noticing it as a working millwright (a grizzly). I switched over to controls and automation and traded my callouses for an extra 58 pounds (a walrus).

I got to assessing myself and decided to get back to the shape I was in when in military (a wolf).

It's just making a plan and working the plan. Figuring out what was bullshit regarding metabolic and dietary info was a lot harder than just being hangry for the last 6 months.

Right now my body is all out of sorts and my body image is somewhere between a giant armadillo and a hyena.

Y'all inspire me! I walked a mile of gentle trails sipping coffee and played with a kettlebell for my shoulders and arms.

Then I cooked 12 pounds of meat for next week and watched youtube sci-fi drivel. Oh, and I put a single point sling attachment and BUIS on my strobe light. Nothing is worse than an unfocused strobe in an emergency.
