Saw a random ad, and was not really paying attention to it. It was a woman doing something to her face. Then I heard her say, "There is no reason you should use any other foundation." Then DING! A thought popped into my mind. I know... dangerous. I was wondering if painters would call foundation primer. And then DING DING! Another thought popped into my mind. I now think I totally understand the process of makeup. Oh, this is deep. Sanding, priming, and painting. As many coats of each as needed. Tell me how I am wrong.
Nope, your spot on! Gotta watch out for the ones who need fiberglass and/or bondo, and then several coats of filler primer before the first coat of actual primer! After that, a couple coats of color and a good clear and your good to go, hopefully! I'm so gonna get beat up now! LOL
I'm thankful my wife and daughters don't wear makeup and look great! Me on the other hand... probably need body and engine work along with detailing.
Yep ,, been there ,, seen that ,,, Back in my wilder , more active days,, umm ,,, nights ,,, I started telling them I had to leave before sun up ,, to get to work on time ,,,,, But ,, in reality ,,, maybe I didn't want them to see what they hauled home the night before ,,,, ,,, I'm just kidding here ladies ,, I mean no disrespect to anyone ,,,
My Wife, Being a Doctor, is really big on NO Makeup or anything un-natural, and she doesn't need it ether. She might roll on the lip stick and maybe some highlights and eye shadow if we are going out, but usually goes without! It can be kinda shocking when she really does it up, like it's another person, (and she rocks it), but honestly doesn't need to!
To be totally fair to the ladies, I had done my best to put them through the wringer the night before. Maybe just a case of 'rode hard and put up wet'!
I've been super lucky to never have encountered that morning excitement. Once, my buddy from childhood was sitting with me and out of the blue, he blurted, "I've never seen you with someone not good looking." It had never crossed my mind. Then I was thankful for it.
I believe Willie Nelson wrote in a song..... Last night I came in, I went to bed with a ten. But at 10 I woke up with a 2.
I woke up with one I'd played the long game on before throwing out the reverse hucklebuck the first night. I remember she looked 3 days undead and when I mentioned it to her roommate, the gal laughed and said I knocked the soul out of her. That gal must have been a beautician. Ah, the little glory we have in youth we remember forever.
