    Zimmy Wait, I'm not ready!

I did a decade as an industrial firefighter doing the factory thing. You're right about the different muscle loads and the SCBA challenges. Arms on the nozzle and my back on the hose while not huffing air too fast so you can stay in the fight was always a challenge. One would get better and another weaker from month to month. Texas A&M FFS was a good class to point that out.

Thanks for your service. I was way too soft hearted for a municipal job. Give me a HAZMAT disaster over a car accident any day.

I’m back on track. I made all 4 classes this week and learned quite a bit. My side stuff is going pretty well too. Ran me some “grinders” in the garage for 8 minutes straight last night. Light lifting on days I’m not running. (Unless I’m tired, I’ll just watch tv. Lol.)

I guess I broke through the 6 week plateau. I'm still eating and doing the same things and I've lost 7 pounds in the last 7 days

I'm back to regaining my health. 2 years ago I was running/walking daily (up to 10 miles a day), I changed shoes and hurt both my knees so I took some time off to recover, didn't get back into it. At that time I had my weight almost to my goal, I was 204lbs. Fast forward to the last few months. Due to a water leak in our bathroom our bathroom and closet were completely gutted and rebuild. In that time I know I was stressed out and added several pounds. After finishing the bathroom/closet (mostly) my wife and I went through our clothes when putting them back. More than half of my clothes (most pants) no longer fit. Not just that they were tight, but I could not even button the pants.
This past Sunday was the last full day of work (finishing flooring and trim), at the end of the day I hit 10k steps. I was sore and tired but elated that I hit my step goal for the first time in, well a long time!
I decided I was done. Done feeling tired and worn out, Done being depressed about my weight gain, Done making excuses why I can't start moving again.
My weight Monday morning was 241.8, my goal is to get to 200. Monday and Tuesday I got my 10k steps, and I'm on track to hit it again today.
I'm eating B.B.B.E (Beef, Butter, Bacon & Eggs), already feeling better. Time to keep this up, I did it once, I can do it again.

Monday I was so was so sleepy I skipped class, boo. I made the other 3 and got most of my side stuff in. On a side note, on my way to class cops were on scene of two ATM robberies. God bless America.
