It happens. I had a Mini30 that was garbage from the start. But my Saiga12 needed a couple of hundred rounds to polish and fit the surfaces and it runs like a sewing machine now.
I’d probably cut my losses and get what I can either from the seller or private sale, and put it towards the Glock. It’s not worth the headache for a couple hundred bucks, IMO.
S&W bodyguard2 good, good for a 380... Its almost like smith is getting the hang of Newtonian physics.
When I first got my S12 all I could do was look at it for over a month till I could go to a range. so I took it apart and polished all the shit that rubs. Mine always ran good.
It wasn't a problem. We just shot skeet and a few extras got away. I wanted it so smooth the cheapest light loads would work it. It got the seal of approval when we could dump all ten 14 rounds mags in <2 seconds each. There's a blue food grade drum at the range that has more holes in it than the world porn industry. It still holds a beer well.
Many have not been impressed with the M&P line, the only S&W I have is my old Model 19 Combat Magnum.
Well knock on wood i may of got the issue resolved, 60 extra bucks later. Installedthe galloway 22lb recoil spring, that alone did nothing. Installed a new springer heavy duty mag spring and it seems to be running ok. I lost 1 round mag capacaity but i believe will return once spring gets wore in. If it runs good i will order another spring for the other mag.
I'm upping my offer to $160 in commemorative Quarters that are US LEGAL TENDER and made from semi-precious metals unknown in the dark ages of the world!
I bought a s&w 659 ages ago before the net and had a bunch of feed and stove pipe issues brand new. Between frustrations and distrustful of it it went into the safe. About that time I also discovered the high dollar world of Smith mags.
Yea the dang thing messed up again the other day. Got so dang mad at it. I took a small loss but traded it for a nice henry .17hmr with an octagon barrell. Shoots like a dream.
Yep. Maybe not quite that cheap but yeah. Sounds like the M&P 10 is off my "to get" list... Probably will do the Glock thing in 10 even tho Im not all that partial to Glocks (I do own a 19 g5 and a 21 g3). I have a pre-ban .40 "411" Smith that works just fine.
after luging around a glock 35 iwb for years,,,, im with zimmy. naa 22 mag. bears dont scare me. .22 mag is under appreciated. pmr 30 for anch runs. part for the new 3dp sr40 frame this week. i hope.
Glock 43x is a nice compromise. 10+1 of 9mm, pretty light, easy recoil. All for around 5 bills. I still like my taurus pt111 though.
the 43 is real popular with the 3dp crowd. lots of cool frames for that. i could just not do 9mm. 7.62x25 tok was my carry a long time.
