My GHB and EDC Bag and contents

It seems a bit more stocked like a BOB as opposed to a GHB. It looks like it's supplied for a week (except missing food and ready water, shelter, decent flashlight and a couple of lighters). More like setting up a campsite where you are going to be staying awhile gathering firewood and foraging whilst staying put. I'd not want to carry it. Speaking of that. Have you loaded that up and gone for a long walk .. like 10 miles? I'm betting you'll end up slimming that down in a big hurry. As it looks like you are carrying about 25-30 pounds.

Additionally, ya might want to try your stuff out. A lot of the items appear unused/new.

My typical EDC and GHB has enough stuff for like 18 - 36 hours from where I have to bail my vehicle and walk home and is tailored for the landscape I'm going to have to traverse. Vehicle may have spare boots, shovel, blanket and more water but those are there all the time and would only be taken if necessary if i had to hoof it back home. And I'm like 7 pounds and most of that is water in the GHB. EDC (knife, kevlar cordage, water, candy, flashlight, lighters and handgun) is like 3-4 pound (most of the weight is the handgun) messenger bag and I can sneak it into the office inside my laptop bag.

EDC gets me to the Car where my GHB resides. EDC gets dumped into GHB or goes into pockets, pistol goes into holster, select correct footware and beat feet for up to 25 miles. If it's not winter it's a leisurely stroll at 1 mph along the farm field treeline. Winter involves grabbing more appropriate items and taking with and then it's probably more than just a space blank coming out of the trunk and there may be two overnights.

 

Seems like you l now it all. Unfortunately you've nary a clue of the how and why I have my equipment the way i do. I've done some long rucks with that bag. Just cause you dont see something does NOT mean It's not there I didn't get into this lifestyle this morning so your opinion is like an a**hole. Everyone has one and they all stink. You do things your way, and I will do things my way.

Seems like he was a bit touchy on observations that weren’t 100% positive. I would think people that can’t take constructive criticism shouldn’t post pics of their stuff on here. Maybe be doesn’t realize that most people on here have been doing this since moby dick was a minnow.
