There are few smells that I remember as clearly as a paper mill. The Kodak plant in Tennesee, where I asked the locals what the smell was and they all said "What smell?" North Carolina chicken farms, burning bodies, and death.
I can still remember the stench of the papermill in Port St. Joe, Florida back in my Airforce days, late 1970s. Driving by it between my duty station at Tyndall AFB near Panama City and home in Tallahassee, it was enough to gag a maggot. When the wind was wrong, we could smell it on base, many miles away. They closed it in the 1980s. I don't miss it. But on the otherhand, it meant local jobs and I like the idea of our being industrially independent. A two-edged sword.
Still have paper mills to the West and one to the South, 60 miles away each. I have known people to throw up at the first whiff of one, including my brother. Never bothered me that much but neither does skunk.
They just shut down the Paper Mill in Georgetown SC and the Liberty steel mill In Georgetown that made steel wire has been shut down for sometime putting a lot of people out of work. Hope these tariffs open these up again --hell we need industry
If that's the case, he will commit suicide by shooting himself 3 times in the back of the head. As much as I want to see her held accountable for all of her actions, well EVERY politician needs to be held accountable for their actions, it will never happen.
While I mostly agree with your assessment of actions on the Hildebeast,,, sometimes,, those folks get to a time in life where their usefulness has run its course. I've been wondering if the Hildebeast's time has about run out ,, and maybe she doesn't have the protections and power she once had . Time will tell.
I think the Trump team just schooled the Leftists on market manipulation. Up until now they thought they could use fear to make the market fall... Check out those gains. Over 2500 points in one day. And a new Tariff update, a 90 day suspension on most of them...and the market is way up.
