Daily carry when out and about

I have seen the destructive power of the Directed Energy Weapon, I want one of those.

 

I only carry concealed in constitutional carry states, and I am not there very often.
Yes I own weapons legally in the US even as a nonresident alien.
(Canadian & South African citizen, tourist with property & business in the US)

I'm 5'1, less than 100 lbs, wear a belly band.
Usually in a very safe area. Threat level GREEN.

With slim fitted clothing, I carry a micro 380 such as a Ruger LCP or Rohrbaugh 380,
or FEG R61 in the past, up to a SIG-Sauer P365SAS easily concealed,
sometimes 2 of them depending on the design of the belly band, with 2 or more spare magazines.
And possibly other tools: knife, pepper spray, maglite/police flashlight, tactical pen, stun gun...

With loose clothing, plaid shirts, jackets, etc. I can wear more types of holsters, conceal up to a Glock 17 & backup guns,
depending on the type of clothing...



In environments where I am not allowed to carry firearms & self-defence devices (most places),
I still wear a belly band, and often a purse or backpack, and carry:
maglite/police flashlights, tactical pen, small knives, small sharp scissors...

Other items can be helpful too: long narrow metal water bottle, bamboo walking stick, umbrella:

 

Anything and everything can be turned into a weapon! It's a damn poor mind that can't figure a dozen ways to kill somebody!

 

I have an Irish Blackthorne walking stick and a sword cane.

 

depending on the state sword canes can be very illegal...

 

Also, for foreign countries/places where guns are not allowed,
a retractable/telescoping antenna (of a car for example) is a nasty, easy-to-use concealed weapon that is not illegal.



Slightly off-topic, tools to take with you, including through customs, for home defence in foreign countries:
(knives may be illegal in some East Asian countries, where they are not really needed anyway)

-golf clubs (whether you golf or not, have the deniability of knowing a local golf course that you "plan" to visit)

-diving knife (in scenic coastal countries, have the deniability of knowing a scuba place, bringing along some supplies, diving belt)

-or a survival knife (with the deniability of knowing a place to hike/camp, bring a tent, sleeping bag, camping supplies)

-bamboo walking stick (I think that bamboo is both the strongest and lightest material)

-machete for tropical climates, varying lengths (with the deniability of clearing tropical vegetation around a house)

-dough roller, frying pan, kitchen knives, other kitchen supplies

-and your legal concealed weapons as well (maglites, tactical flashlights, small folding knives, etc)



Never let yourself be taken alive to a vehicle, fight like hell.
Do not trust other people and their food and drink, have your own supply.

And I never travel alone and I do not go off "the beaten path".
Solo female travel in a 3rd-world country is an easy way to get killed.

In 3rd-world countries, even if you are in a group with men, you can be suddenly surrounded by several men with motorbikes, the men in your group will be badly beaten or killed, the women will be gang-raped and possibly beheaded,
avoid tempting fate, do not stray from the well-travelled paths

 

NEVER EVER stand around waiting for the local police to arrive, leave the scene, if you can, and ditch the weapon! No matter how justified your actions may seem to you RUN! Run fast, run far and hide (or leave the country)!

 

For my bicycle rides. On the property it is chest rig with 357 for snakes, bob cats etc, for town 9mm IWB . Knives are same unless hunting then the big one changes out for a hunter. A little bit of engraving at this point but will be pretty much full coverage on the slude by the time i am finished.

 

Maybe I'm just an "ordinary Joe" carrying what I want. 2 is 1 and 1 is none. "Perhaps" i don't live in any of the $hitholes you mention. So you get your gas gun for your truck and I'll carry what I want.
