Pallet scooter is fun, but not as fun as "flying" up and down the craneway after locking up the shop.
Funny, I never once considered what would happen if I fell, or dropped the control and couldn't reach it.

back in 67 my brother had a 56 caddy cool place for gas fill

 

The 1957 Chevy Bel Air was like that, gas cap hidden under the left fin chrome. A buddy who had one in the early 1980s liked to pull the old "fill 'er up" on young gas jockeys (Florida still had some full-serve stations then). Funny watching the poor kid trying to find the gas cap.
