US launches attack against Iranian nuclear sites

So, Bunker Buster hits their nuclear sites am I correct in assuming these sites will be contaminated for years to come and totally useless.

Anyway, we started the fight back in 1953 by allowing the CIA and the UK government to overthrow their then current leader and install the Shah.
I think it probably was the military industrial complex that (originally wrote truman) Eisenhower warned us about during his farewell address that he'd seen first hand that plotted the whole thing. Anyway, this has been simmering and boiling over for over 70 years. It only started getting interesting in the late 70s

IMO, any country that has the nerve to attack the US or it's interests should loose all of it's defensive capabilities, making them vulnerable to all their enemies.

I agree. He should seek out approval of Congress, even though it is after the fact, especially since we don't know how this will play out - meaning - I personally think Iran will find some way to retaliate against the US...then what? A couple of sources say there are Iranian MANPADs (Man-Portable Air Defense System) already in the US having come across the border in the Biden era...

Anyway, my point was he doesn't have to have approval of Congress to act, he has that power (and for a good reason); however, he should now get Congress on board as soon as possible. I think he will do so as it only makes sense and Trump seems to always take the pragmatic approach, uses common sense. It's a pity Israel couldn't do it. It was a 'damn if you do and damn if you don't' scenario.

EDIT: Do you think Iran will realize we didn't bomb their people, their infrastructure, their transportation, their manufacturing/factories or utilities just their means to produce a nuke or use this as justification to call a Jihad?

IMHO IF these countries do supply Iran with nukes they become implicit in anything Iran does with those weapons and open themselves to reprisals!!!

Because Iran was manufacturing weapons for them but now, who knows, so they're pissed. Also, they want the US to stop supporting Ukraine in any way, shape or form. Typical Russian crap. If Russia believes for an instant that they would be safe from a nuclear Iran they are more foolish than I would have thought possible. Islam cares not a lick about your country, merely the religious doctrine you adhere to.

 

the irony of this is that MADD still works... but only if the actors have some rational sense... Medvedev can bloviate all he wants, but in the long term NO ONE wants an irrational actor to have nukes. Putin isn't stupid... he understands the chess match that is going on here... and that there are short-term memory actors influencing both sides.... and that Iran getting nukes isn't the problem... it's Iran using them that is.. because if they do...Russia gets vitrified just like everyone else..

I expect Medvedev suddenly goes quiet....

 

Putin's regime can't be trusted but is concerning the talk of transferring Nuclear weapons to Iran is being publicly talked about by a member of a Thoroughly corrupt regime.

 

I’m far more worried about Pakistan handing nukes to Iran than Russia.
