Motivational Poster Thread (warning content)

Fans and window units in a paved over city with homes that don't have adequate air flow does not
make the climate change. It just makes the location feel more miserable. I used to work in shops
built in the 1940's. We stayed cool with fans because the heat went up and out the windows in the raised
center of the roof. Shop I'm in now, built in 1999, has no ventilation for the heat, so it just stays in, and
now the A/C makes it dry heat.

 

Two elderly British ladies meet aat the end of summer and the one is asked what she has been up to.

“Oh, my husband took me to France”

“That’s nice” said the other one.

“ Then he took me to Monte Carlo” said the first one.

“That’s nice” said the other one.

“Then he took me to Spain” said the first one.

“That’s nice” said the second one.

“ So what did your husband do for you this summer?” asked the first one.

“He sent me to elocution classes” said the second one.

“Elocution classes? What’s that”? asked the first.

“That is where I learned to say ‘thats nice’ instead of ‘aw f**k you’!

 

Hehe.... Yogi has a drinking problem.

 

A great reason to get home before it got dark.
