Somehow I'm not imagining a lot of top-break revolvers in the hood.

Either that, or it's a cheap Hollywood effort to look badass that fails spectacularly.

…..that scene is set in Colombia in the 1980s….its the movie Romancing the Stone. Basically a comedy. So not too much realism should be expected,,,,,

 

I recognized the actor. , don't know his name, but figured it wasn't an actual Pic.

 

I've actually got one of these ,, but in Stainless,, never really looked up any info on it ,, with that advertisement,, I know more about it now than I ever did .
It was my Mom's little carry piece.
I'll try it if I think about it ,, but can you get the manufactured year from the serial number ? I figure she got it in the early 80's .
